    Fires of Unknown Origin

October 19, 2023 About 35 minutes of walking, all related to that dang doctor’s appointment that I wanted no part of but did anyway. Notes Have been away for the last few days simply because moody. You don’t want to be near me when I feel like I may be a ticking time bomb. I got my flu shot...

    Fires of Unknown Origin

October 15, 2023 About one hour and fifteen minutes of sweeping and various activities related to helping my parents barbecue a turkey, most of this without a walking stick. Notes Put Baseline Day 8 on the back burner intentionally today. I wasn’t ready to risk screwing up my hips on 15...

Black Knight - Overhead punch illustration

Yeah, it does look odd. For me this is one of those exercises that demands a video with a spoken explanation of what’s being done, but since we have no way of knowing if the mods have legitimate fitness credentials (and I suspect that they don’t because if they did their profiles would say so)...

    Fires of Unknown Origin

October 13-14, 2023 About two hours of walking and apartment upkeep (vacuuming, washing, cleaning bathroom) on Friday. About 20 minutes of walking today. Notes Friday was a case of “the next time you do that…don’t do that”. My shift wasn’t until the afternoon, so I took the morning to get...

    Fires of Unknown Origin

Thank you @Mamatigerj. I shouldn’t be showing so much angst, but the frustration has been real. October 12, 2023 Baseline Day 7 20 standing W-extensions, 20-count raised arm hold, 20 chest expansions, 20 wide shoulder rotations; 3 sets About 15 minutes of walking as well. Notes Today’s...

    Fires of Unknown Origin

October 11, 2023 Baseline Day 6 20 march steps, 20-count calf extensions (both sides), 10 hip rotations*, 20 raised arm circles; 3 sets * I know those are supposed to be torso rotations, but I can't wrap my head around what those are. There was also a half-hour walk and an hour sweeping my...

    Fires of Unknown Origin

@CODawn I would if I drank, but I need only one drink to get drunk: My first, and only a few sips. My meds don’t tolerate alcohol and I have the story to prove it. But it’s best not shared publicly. October 8, 2023 About an hour or so of sweeping and trimming. It was the best I could hope...

    Fires of Unknown Origin

October 5, 2023 About an hour moving about on my feet. Work commute and buying a card for my dad’s birthday on Wednesday was involved. Notes Today at work, Evil David Tricks were front and center. Usually I stay away from black humor while at the supermarket because I don’t want to risk...

    Fires of Unknown Origin

October 4, 2023 About half an hour or so of walking. Notes Today saw some dead spots in the customer flow at work. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise because my headspace is still apparently not okay from yesterday’s shock. This shouldn’t be happening because retail is by nature a...

    Fires of Unknown Origin

October 3, 2023 Baseline Day 5 10 calf raises, 10 air half-squats (I did not trust my chair for sit-to-stand), 20 arm scissors, 20 scissor chops; 3 sets Also about 25 minutes of walking. The photo shown is one of my Logacta setups from my parents’ house. I printed additional bare bones...

    Monthly Subscription?

I haven’t seen one, so I’m pretty sure you aren’t missing anything. However, the idea sounds interesting so I’ll tag a couple of the mods. Maybe @Damer or @neilarey can consider it for the suggestion box.

What video games are you currently playing?

I have Tetris Axis for my 3DS. I’ll play it on occasion, but I can’t lie: I’m not really a fan of the way the game has evolved to include being able to hold pieces for later. I grew up with the Game Boy version and still prefer the “classic” rule set of having to deal with what the RNG gave you.
