I'll keep that in mind. Infact, there are a few minor injuries and unusual events that keep me from following my usual schedule. Maybe I need to allow myself a different path.

What a valuable "advice", I did not expect otherwise...πŸ˜ƒ

Anyway, I'm with @Fremen. The best reset button is to step back, reasses and maybe try out something new until you figure out what to do. I think it's a bit as it is with PCs. If something doesn't work right, it's scary how often just rebooting can fix the problems, instead of troubleshooting for days on end. You make a restart, and more often than not, it works as intended. Now, if you know PCs a bit, you probably know that there's the simple push of the reset button and the long push of the power button, which usually feels like pressing the pillow on the proverbial face of the PC until he blacks out. Often helps, too, but feels rather unpleasant. Don't confuse the two ;)

Whatever you do, I hope you'll find your way to rest and regroup :hug:

Don't reset buddy the best way is to go down a step then bring it back up :) Because there will be a point you can't go further so step back and when you come back to it you should have pushed through :) love the new avatar buddy

Definitely a great Classic. The bass part itself is not that hard, but very hard to memorize, cause its very repetitive with small differences and variations... It teaches me a lot about "how to PLAY bass"... It's a lot of fun!

So, the main struggle is gone, I think, and you folks played a big role in it. Thx for that! :dance:

I thought a lot about your ideas/advice/thoughts. And I came to the conclusion, that there was truth in every one of them. I needed a soft reset (adjustment) of my expectations, cause the incompatibilities of them with my recent reality were the main problem.

There were a few setbacks (putting weight back on during my away time, wrist injury, pain in my quads while running) so I could not perform as well as I wanted in my two favourite activities. That destroyed my moral... cause I was still in performance mode... At the moment I gave myself the right to be in recovery mode (again) my mood got better. I realised running wasn't that bad at all, just my quads need more treatment (strength and mobility). And, even though my wrist is still not at the range of motion as it could be/was, I can still perform well in boulders, that do not put force on my wrist in a rotating way.

I will take it easy and enjoy the next two weeks.
