I had received a training journal as a part of the swag for one of my virtual runs a couple of years ago. I haven really used it because I usually have used a notebook for my workouts and logged here. One of the interesting things in it though was a long-term virtual run goal across Canada, with the starting point on the west coast of Vancouver, British Columbia (BC), and ending up at St. John's, Newfoundland (NL), and a total distance of 7,418 Km.
  • completed 428 Km from January 1 to June 25, which is from Vancouver, BC to Kamloops, BC

Well, I took a day off this past Thursday, did the recovery run for my half marathon training on Friday and decided to do a restart today with my exercise plan, including my consecutive workout days count. I ended up feeling a little crappy starting later on in the day this past Wednesday, which led to this decision. Long story short, I had a bit of a change in my vision, and was having issues with making the adjustments in my prescription - stronger prescription and making the change to progressive vision Eyewear 👓. My goal is to get somewhat used to wearing reading glasses with my contacts first, then get actual progressive glasses.
