Today, May 1st, is day 1542.
Classic warm up
Actually completed all of power punch day 11 so let's go on from there
Day 9 gladiator challenge, 3 sets 14 split squats
Peach workout with EC, modified: 3 sets of everything instead of 2, 30 total reps per set of side leg extensions and clamshells, 15 reps per set of V leg extensions, no glute flexes

Total post-warm-up heavy breathing/sweat time, 21:58, so that's day 1 for the COVID survey for the week. Also, if an out-of-date test can be trusted, negative for COVID today. Edit: day 14 flossing

Today, May 5, is day 1546.

Classic warm up
Gladiator challenge day 10, 4 sets 60 punches
Power Punch day 13, 3 sets 120 punches
Modified Shark Week workout- I did 20 side-to-side lunges per set, but 40 side leg raises (20 per leg) and 40 leg raises (20 per leg) per set, and only had 30 seconds rest between exercises, so that's EC
Total post-warmup time spent heavy breathing/sweating from exercise was 21:44 so that's two for the COVID survey for the week
Will edit later for flossing. EDIT: Day 18 flossing. Also, 2.73 miles/17 minutes, 1.66 miles/10 minutes, and 1.5 miles/10 minutes on the bike.

Today, May 11, day 1552. 9 minutes/1.18 miles, 6 minutes/0.83 miles, and a stretch I forgot to track my time for that brought me close to 20 minutes, but not close enough for me to feel comfortable calling it day 4 yet. Will edit later for flossing. ETA: wound up with 5 more minutes biking and walking about a mile while carrying a backpack full of groceries and soapmaking supplies. So day 4. Day 24 flossing.

May 31. Day 1573. Was not feeling the greatest yesterday- cramps- so it was 6 minutes/0.82 miles and 5 minutes/0.66 miles, none of which was particularly heavy breathing-worthy, but hell, at least I got out on the bike. Day 44 flossing.
June 1. Day 1574. SO FAR: 10 minutes/1.83 miles, 29 minutes/5.55 miles, and 6 minutes/0.79 miles. Guess whose ferry ride to work got abruptly canceled due to engine filter problems. Go on, guess. Anyway that's day 5 for the COVID survey for the week. Will edit later for further riding, and for flossing.
ETA: 14 minutes/1.94 miles, 7 minutes/1.03 miles, would have been more fun if it weren't for traffic and an ozone-based air quality warning

ETA 2: 8 minutes/1.23 miles and 24 mi utes/4.09 miles because the ferry wasn't fixed yet. Day 45 flossing

June 6. Day 1579. 130 punches before bed, day 50 flossing.
June 7. Day 1580. They fixed the ferry. So far, 8 minutes/1.38 miles, 3 minutes/0.5 miles, and 7 minutes/0.96 miles. There will be more later and all of it will be done wearing an N95 because the local air quality is Really Not Great thanks to wildfire smoke, although I'm not in way the hell upstate New York so it's not as bad as it could be right now.
Edit: 7 minutes/0.87 miles and 10 minutes/1.42 miles. Day 2 for the COVID survey. Day 51 flossing

I believe this makes it day 3 for the COVID survey for the week, but there will be more, and also flossing. EDIT: 6 minutes/0.83 miles, 10 minutes/1.79 miles. So yeah, day 3. Also day 57 flossing.

June 14. Day 1587 of continuous exercise of some sort. So far only 6 minutes/0.91 mile- there are thunderstorms predicted this afternoon so I didn't ride my bike to the ferry, but I did rent a bikeshare to get from the ferry dock to my office. I doubt I'll accumulate enough to qualify for the COVID survey today but at least I'm getting the bike riding in. EDIT: 4 minutes/0.54 miles later on in the day, so no, did not qualify for the COVID survey, oh well. Day 58 flossing, at least.

June 16. Day 1589. 15 minutes/2.71 miles, 8 minutes/1.21 miles, so that's day 4 for the COVID survey for the week. Also this was (as most of the 15-minute-ish rides are) a ride to my local birding beach, which meant I got to find out that baby piping plovers look like spotty cotton balls with legs and teeny beaks. Day 60 flossing.

I'm doing okay, I'm just horrendously lazy about logging in to note down what I've been doing! (Well, mostly okay. Allergy season is turning into sinusitis season by the feel of it.)

Anyway. Here's the logs.

June 24. Day 1597. 21 minutes/4.07 miles and 23 minutes/4.28 miles. Day 1 for the COVID survey. Day 68 flossing.
June 25. Day 1598. 15 minutes/3.06 miles, 15 minutes/2.70 miles. Day 2 for the COVID survey. Day 69 flossing.
June 26. Day 1599. 100 punches before bed. Day 70 flossing.
June 27. Day 1600 of some form of exercise each day even if only a token amount. 11 minutes/1.86 miles, 6 minutes/0.97 miles, 6 minutes/0.84 miles, 10 minutes/1.8 miles. Day 3 for the COVID survey. Day 71 flossing.
June 28. Day 1601. 6 minutes/0.94 miles, 6 minutes/0.84 miles, 4 minutes/0.71 miles. Day 72 flossing.
June 29. Day 1602. 12 minutes/2.34 miles, 9 minutes/1.57 miles, Day 4 for the COVID survey, day 73 flossing.
June 30. Day 1603. Family visit in another state. 100 punches before bed. Skipped flossing during this visit, sorry.
July 1. Day 1604. Also 100 punches.
July 2. Day 1605. Borrowed my father's bike. 31 minutes/4.89 miles. Day 1 for the COVID survey.
July 3. Day 1606. Travel day. Did not feel well. Managed 20 wall pushups, that's at least something. Day 1 flossing.
July 4. Day 1607. 50 punches before bed. Day 2 flossing.
July 5. Day 1608. So far, 10 minutes/1.83 miles and 6 minutes/0.95 miles. Will edit for more later. EDIT: 8 min/1.1 miles, 4 min/0.68 miles, 5 min/9.74 miles, and qp min/1.79 miles. day 2 for the COVID survey. day 3 flossing.

July 8, day 1611. Got the kayak out of the basement, which was a not insignificant amount of exercise in itself. Went paddling. Got caught by a MASSIVE amount of rapidly incoming fog that had not been in the forecast. Turned back when I realized I couldn't see the shore I'd launched from. 12 minutes of actual paddling (not counting time spent drifting as I looked through binoculars) but between the basement rigamarole and hauling 39 pounds of boat and gear to the water and back I am counting today as day 3 for the COVID survey. Day 6 flossing.

July 9, day 1612. Also a foggy day but this time the wind was coming from the land out towards the harbor; between my arrival at the steps down to shoreline access and the time I finally got the kayak unstrapped, the paddle put together, the lifejacket on and the boat shoes on, the fog had largely been pushed away. I was able to paddle out to the island and do some decent bird observing as well as complete a circumnavigation of the island. I used my bicycle app to keep track of where I went and how long I was moving, since it draws a track on the map based on GPS and has two separate items for 'time from start to finish' vs 'time spent moving'. Since I didn't do very much unpowered drifting, I'm using the 'moving time' stat as the amount of time I actually spent exercising, which in this case was 21 minutes and 20 seconds. Between this and the hauling I will count it as day 1 for the COVID survey for the week. Day 7 flossing.

July 10. Day 1613. Exhausted and dealing with what are either anxiety or depression symptoms, not sure which; I got them around this time of year last year, too, so they may just be recurring. Who knows. Anyway, 15 wall pushups and 100 punches before bed. Day 8 flossing.
July 11. Day 1614. So far, 11 minutes/1.84 miles and 7 minutes/1.05 miles. Will edit later for further exercise and for flossing.

Thank you all. I appreciate it.

That said, July 11 went on to include 4 minutes/0.53 miles, 5 minutes/0.66 miles, 8 minutes/1.15 miles, 6 minutes/0.87 miles, and 9 minutes/1.41 miles, so altogether that's day 2 for the COVID survey. Day 9 flossing.
July 12. Day 1615. 100 punches before bed. Day 10 flossing.
July 13. Day 1616. So far, 10 minutes/1.82 miles, 6 minutes/0.92 miles, 8 minutes/1.23 miles, 8 minutes/1.09 miles. There will be more later but I've already hit day 3 for the COVID survey so I'm noting that now. EDIT: 6 min/0.93 miles, 6 min/0.99 miles, 6 min/0.9 miles. Day 11 flossing.

July 15. Day 1618. Kayaking, 17 minutes/0.97 miles spent actively paddling. Not quite enough for the COVID survey, alas. Day 13 flossing.
July 16. Day 1619. 100 punches before bed, day 14 flossing.
July 17. Day 1620. 120 punches before bed, day 15 flossing.
July 18. Day 1621. So far, 8 minutes/1.47 miles and 6 minutes/0.94 miles on the bike. Also, so far, 20 wall pushups today. Will edit for more later. EDIT: 4 minutes/0.69 miles, 3 minutes/0.43 miles, and 10 minutes/1.78 miles, so day 1 for the COVID survey; total of 25 wall pushups for the day. Restarting my flossing count because I had a dentist visit/teeth cleaning.

July 19. Day 1622. 8 minutes/1.48 miles + 6 minutes/0.96 miles + 6 minutes/0.88 miles + 11 minutes/1.79 miles, day 2 for the COVID survey. Day 1 of flossing streak.
July 20. Day 1623. 5 minutes/0.74 miles, 14 minutes/2.71 miles, 9 minutes/1.57 miles, day 3 for the COVID survey. Also, 15 wall pushups. Day 2 of flossing streak.

July 22. Day 1625. 16 minutes/2.94 miles, 15 minutes/2.59 miles. Day 1 for the COVID survey for the week since the riding happened after I did the prior week's survey. Day 4 of flossing streak.
July 23. Day 1626. Went kayaking around Snake Island. Don't know how long I spent paddling because I didn't turn on my usual tracking software, but I spent 36 minutes running the birdwatching app from the kayak, so I'm guessing I spent at least 20 minutes actually paddling. So that's day 2 for the COVID survey. Day 5 of flossing.
July 24. Day 1627. 3 minutes/0.46 miles, 3 minutes/0.42 miles, 21 minutes/3.71 miles, 22 minutes/4.08 miles. Day 3 for the COVID survey. Day 6 flossing.
July 25. Day 1628. 100 punches before bed. Day 7 flossing.
July 26. Day 1629. 10 minutes/1.84 miles, 6 minutes/0.82 miles, 9 minutes/1.3 miles, 8 minutes/1.08 miles, 5 minutes/1.07 miles (errands at lunch), 11 minutes/1.79 miles. Day 4 for the COVID survey for the week. Day 8 flossing.
July 27. Day 1630. So far, 7 minutes/0.97 miles. I do not think I am likely to hit 20 minutes of hard breathing exercise today due to outdoor temperatures and travel conditions but I will edit later as needed. Edit: well, I walked to the T and took the bus home after, so that 7 minutes is it. Day 9 flossing.

July 28. Day 1631. Went out in the kayak for 38 minutes but a lot of those were spent holding very still or drifting among grass to hide while I counted shorebirds, so I can't claim to have hit the COVID survey mark even with wrestling the boat into/out of its storage bag or hauling it to/from shore. Still, paddled, so the day counts. Day 10 of flossing streak.

Edit 3: 50 total so far

Edit 6, final: total of 115 wall pushups today. Also, 18 minutes/2.83 miles on the bike, not quite enough for the covid survey. Day 15 flossing.

August 12. Lost functionality of my bike computer software this week so the days when I cycled aren't really the most precisely recorded. But I did 2.4 miles out and then 2.4 back on the bike so that's day 1 for the COVID survey and day 1645 regardless. Day 25 flossing.
August 13. Day 1646. 100 punches before bed. Day 26 flossing.
August 14. Day 1647. 100 punches before bed. Day 27 flossing.
August 15. Day 1648. 100 punches before bed. Day 28 flossing.
August 16. Day 1649. 10 wall pushups, 100 punches before bed. Day 29 flossing.
August 17. Day 1650. 3.2 miles out on the bike and then 0.95 miles back, so day 2 for the COVID survey. Day 30 flossing.
August 18. Day 1651. 1.4 miles on the bike, then was told the ferry was running so far behind that I'd be better off taking the train, then 3 miles to the train station, then later in the day 1.84 miles back from the train. So day 3 for the COVID survey. Day 30 flossing.

Have not yet exercised today, I'll post for that later.
