I had some lentils sitting in the cupboard and decided to use them up making a soup . . .
I chopped some onion and fried (olive oil) at the bottom of a pot, then added a fair amount of defrosted frozen corn, then Knorr chicken stock from cubes, then the lentils. Lentils cook quick, when it was done I used a hand held blender to make it fairly smooth. Did add a little turmeric and onion powder, turned out very good.
