It has been over two decades since my last extended hike, a mesmerizing journey to the beautiful rice terraces in the northern Philippines. Since then, I've enjoyed shorter hikes, including one to the south of the world’s smallest active volcano. However, as December approaches, I find myself drawn to the breathtaking mountains in the northern part of one of our largest islands. The thought of chasing waterfalls in the west fills me with inspiration too.
As I prepare for these upcoming hikes, I'm also refining my photography skills and my legs (so I am currently doing the 30 Days of Change). The stunning views of the places I plan to visit have ignited a desire in me to capture their beauty through my lens. Photography is not just a hobby for me; it’s a passion.
