Thanks! @JCU @NancyTree @MadamMeow - It cleared up as the day went on, just too much bending over at once.

Missed yesterday, because it was a hectic day of bringing the Housemate home! :celeb:
(Admittedly, I'm not entirely sure it was a good idea though.)

It's cold again this morning, not helping with how sleepy I am, did quite well on the exercises though:-

Universal Warmup done,
40 Side Leg Raises (EotD) done,
Factory Reset done (3 sets, couldn't face the WotD today),
Day 23 of Total Body done (3 sets, didn't really have the space to do Windshield Wipers properly, but I tried),
Day 23 of Epic Cardio done,
Days 13 and 14 of 10,000 Punches done (So much Punching! :pow:),
Days 13 and 14 of 1000 Calf Raises done,
Sore Feet done.

So yeah, the Housemate is home, it's nice but like I said not too sure it's a good idea:-
Letting her recuperate at home sounds good, but it means I'm effectively trying to look after someone who should be in hospital. I'm running on about two hours of sleep because she kept calling out for help all night and I'm having no better luck getting her to look after herself than they were.
Plus the "Care" package they put together for her is a bit of a joke. Unless I want the carers very limited help at the precise minute they randomly show up, that's it until they show up again however many hours later, so I'm just doing everything myself anyways.

See y'all tomorrow!

Thanks! @Mamatigerj

Everything sucks at the moment:-
Unfortunately I was right about the Housemate, they had sent her home too early.
Had a really bad delirium attack yesterday, wouldn't let anyone examine her to see if the kidney infection had returned too, so she had to be dragged kicking and screaming into an ambulance to be taken back to hospital.
At least we gave the neighbours something to talk about.

Plus I seem to have picked up a bug while waiting in the hospital yesterday, I feel absolutely rotten this morning so just some light exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
Broken and Beautiful (WotD) attempted (2 sets),
Day 15 of 10,000 Punches done,
Day 15 of 1,000 Calf Raises done,
Stretched done.

Gotta find out what ward the Housemate is in, see how she's doing, see y'all tomorrow!

Thank you! @Laura Rainbow Dragon @Maegaranthelas - Unfortunately, I don't really know where we go from here. She won't get any better in the hospital, but she's clearly not well enough to leave yet.

Still full of cold, thought I'd try some afternoon exercising when I have a bit more oomph, but I was still too congested to do much, although I did do extra Punching and Calf Raises, so maybe I could've done a full workout after all, we'll see tomorrow:-

Universal Warmup done,
Broken and Beautiful done (3 sets, I enjoyed this one yesterday so thought I'd do it again),
Day 16 of 10,000 Punches done (I did 3 lots of 100, instead of just the 100),
Day 16 of 1000 Calf Raises done (Did an extra 20 Raises on top of each Hold),
Sore Feet done.

See y'all tomorrow!

Thanks! @JCU

Full of cold still, tried doing more today but cardio was a poor choice, didn't do too badly though:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Squat Hold Calf Raises (EotD) done,
Possum (WotD) done,
Day 24 of Total Body attempted (2 sets, you'd think Seal Jacks would be easier than normal ones because you're not lifting your arms above your head, but they're not.),
Day 24 of Epic Cardio attempted (3 sets),
Day 17 of 10,000 Punches done,
Day 17 of 1000 Calf Raises done,
Stretched done.

Another week done. Didn't do great on the exercise front, between my cold and all the hectic life stuff, but I did well on cutting back on the snacks, even the two days I barely ate because I was so stressed I didn't touch any snacks.
Plus I found a big bar of chocolate in the fridge, but I could only get through one row before I found it too sickly to eat, which I was really impressed with (Normally it would be three rows minimum).

Some models I pre-ordered ages ago turned up yesterday, so I'm going to have a nice quiet today of putting them together plus leftover Mushroom Stew for dinner, see y'all tomorrow!

Thanks! @MadamMeow - This one really wants to hang around!

Another round of afternoon exercising.
Between my cold and the wintry weather, I just had no energy this morning.
At least I'm open to exercising later in the day now, instead of just skipping it, a big step in the right direction I feel:-

Universal Warmup done,
40 Back Leg Raises (EotD) done,
Cardio Hop (WotD) done (3 sets, this one was fun),
Day 25 of Total Body done (This one wasn't and it looked so easy too!),
Day 25 of Epic Cardio done,
Day 18 of 10,000 Punches done (Managed this in 2 sets! :pow:),
Day 18 of 1000 Calf Raises done,
Ankle Recovery done.

Talked to people at the Hospital again today:-
We're going to try again with the Housemate recuperating at home. The only other option was putting her in a care home, but we all decided that that would probably finish her off.
But, if the delirium does flare up again, that will be where she ends up.

Going to go make myself some Chicken and Apple Casserole for dinner, take my mind off sad thoughts, see y'all tomorrow!

Yay! Morning exercises! :jacks:
Still got that cold, but doesn't seem as bad:-

Universal Warmup done,
50 Single Leg Hops (EotD) done (Finally got over my mental block with these :chicken:),
Upperbody Mobility (WotD) done,
Day 26 of Total Body attempted (2 and a bit sets. :haha: I was never getting 28 Side Bridges done never mind 5 sets of them! Did what I could but my arms were too noodlely to finish that third set and I needed them for punching),
Day 26 of Epic Cardio attempted (3 sets. Noodlely arms couldn't hold me up to do any more Climbers),
Day 19 of 10,000 Punches done,
Day 19 of 1000 Calf Raises done,
Stretched done.

Gotta venture out into the rain later, check on the Housemate and do some shopping, see y'all tomorrow!

Struggled with my exercises, just too danged cold this morning! :shiver:

Universal Warmup done,
40 High Knees (EotD) done,
Journeyman (WotD) attempted (2 sets),
Day 27 of Total Body attempted (2 sets),
Day 27 of Epic Cardio done,
Day 20 of 10,000 Punches done,
Day 20 of 1000 Calf Raises done,
Sore Feet done.

Hopefully I'll do better tomorrow, but I think I'll have a lack of enthusiasm until I get the heating fixed!

Housemate isn't doing too great at the moment:-
She's completely fixated on coming home, it's all she'll talk about, and if you change the subject or try and explain why she's got a wait a few more days, she'll just shut down or get very angry.
The hope is, once she is home she'll settle down and start to get better, but I'm just not optimistic.

Trying a spin on Kedgeree for dinner, I'm really looking forward to hot, buttered, curried rice right now, see y'all tomorrow!

Thanks! @Maegaranthelas - Yep, that's now firmly lodged in my brain!

I didn't think I'd get any exercising done today, the Housemate is coming home, but the hospital is arranging everything this time, now I've just got to sit and wait at home instead of at the hospital, so did a quick bit:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Toe Tap Hops (EotD) done,
Day 28 of Total Body done (A big yikes on positions 5 and 6, sort of got my body in the right place though),
Day 28 of Epic Cardio done (Glad this one is almost finished, really starting to struggle to get all these Climbers done),
Day 21 of 10,000 Punches done,
Day 21 of 1000 Calf Raises done,
Stretched done.

Didn't do the Workout of the Day, didn't realise until it was too late that it was a one and done, saving it for tomorrow now.
Hopefully the rest of the day goes as well, see y'all tomorrow!

Thanks! @PetiteSheWolf - I hope so too, but it's not going well this morning.

The heating is fixed so morning exercises:-

Universal Warmup done,
40 Side Jacks (EotD) done,
Super Abs done (Who's silly idea was it to do this on top of everything else this morning?),
No Regrets (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 29 of Total Body attempted (Another failed Build day, almost managed 2 sets but I just couldn't Plank any more),
Day 29 of Epic Cardio done,
Day 22 of 10,000 Punches done,
Day 22 of 1000 Calf Raises done,
Ankle Recovery done.

Not too sure how the Housemate situation is going:-
Yesterday I was cautiously optimistic, things seemed to be going well (Even though she kept calling for me throughout the night), but so far this morning we've had a tantrum about taking her medication and a long period where she kept saying that she wanted to die, she's settled down at the moment, but we will have to see how the rest of the day goes.

See y'all tomorrow!

I'm wishing strength for you @aku-chan . What you are going through right now is HARD--and often not acknowledged as such by others. People's sympathies understandably lie with the person who is sick. But a serious and protracted illness like this is brutal on the caregivers too. And we do not acknowledge this as we should. (Perhaps because, frankly, our societies do a crap job of supporting caregivers, and admitting to how hard things are for them would force us to acknowledge how badly we're falling down in this area.)

Please try to find things you can do during these stressful times to support yourself. I don't know what that looks like for you. A short meditation? Stepping outside for a breath of fresh air? Perhaps stealing a minute or two here and there to work on your models or read a favourite book? (So long as the interruptions won't just make you even more stressed). You often write about your cooking and taking pleasure in some of the wonderful dishes you make. So perhaps simply taking a moment to find comfort in enjoying your cooking, and pride in your skill there would help. (Unless you're always eating your food cold because of having to help your housemate eat first. That wears a person down in time too.)

Hang in there!

Thanks for the kind words! @Laura Rainbow Dragon @Maegaranthelas - I'm trying. The whole day isn't too bad, it's just that I don't get much sleep because the Housemate needs a lot of help at night, and then we're both pretty frazzled and emotional in the morning.
But it's only been a couple of days and she can already get around easier and no longer needs help eating, so hopefully it shouldn't be long before things gets back to normal-ish.

Was very tired this morning but I was determined to get Total Body finished once and for all:-

Universal Warmup done,
40 W Extensions (EotD) done,
Fight Back (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 30 of Total Body done (3 sets, finally all finished!),
Day 30 of Epic Cardio done (Another one all finished!),
Day 23 of 10,000 Punches done,
Day 23 of 1000 Calf Raises done,
Stretched done.

Glad to have finished Total Body, really did not enjoy those Build days, they seemed a lot harder than the rest of the program and the sheer repetitiveness with them all being 5 sets didn't help, that's why so many are marked as attempted.
Not going to start a new program yet, determined to do Fit December this year, so I'm just going to noodle about with random workouts for the next week. Moving to the next of the Epic series of challenges though.

See y'all tomorrow!

Thanks! @Nevetharine @Fremen @Maegaranthelas @Laura Rainbow Dragon @JCU @Matan

Got a decent sleep, so time to tackle exercises:-

Universal Warmup done,
10 Jump Squats (EotD) done,
RAWR (WotD) done,
Tabula Rasa done (3 sets),
Day 1 of Epic Glutes done,
Day 24 of 10,000 Punches done,
Day 24 of 1000 Calf Raises done,
Sore Feet done.

The week has been trying, but I've done well with my exercising and food goals, let's see what next week brings.

I Finished watching Andor last night. I wasn't too sure of it at first, it's not very Star Wars and not the sort of show I'd normally watch, but it grew on me and I became pretty invested in it by the end. Not as enamoured with it as the fandom is (I need my Space Wizards!), but I really enjoyed watching it.

Gotta face down the remnants of Storm Bert later, do some shopping, see y'all tomorrow!

Thanks! @NancyTree @MadamMeow @Mamatigerj

I didn't get much exercising done this morning, I was tired, hungry and spent the first hour or so pointlessly on the phone:-

20 Lunge Step-Ups (EotD) done,
The Cake Is A Lie (WotD) attempted (1 set with Crunches),
Day 2 of Epic Glutes attempted (2 sets, gotta play catch up on this one and the others),
Day 25 of 10,000 Punches attempted (I'm 260 Punches short for the day),
Day 25 of 1000 Calf Raises attempted (30 short on this one).

And 100 High Knees for the Turkey Run.

Lesson of the day, don't skip Universal Warmup, it's surprisingly important.

Going to get back on the phone later, save wasting a load of time tomorrow morning, otherwise it's just a quiet day of looking after the Housemate, see y'all tomorrow!

Since getting a decent nights sleep isn't going to be a thing for a while, I've had to cut down my workout routine to something more manageable for tired people, just 1 workout not 2 and I've dropped Epic Glutes for now:-

Universal Warmup done,
50 Arm Scissors (EotD) done,
Slowpoke (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 26 of 1000 Calf Raises done (Plus caught up on my missing ones),
Day 26 of 10,000 Punches done (Plus 100 missing Punches),
Stretched done.

Plus 100 High Knees for the Turkey Run.

Dealing with a grumpy Housemate today:-
Had a couple people from the hospital come round to see if there was any equipment that we could use, which put the Housemate in a bad mood, how dare people try and make her life easier! Or something
At least the weather is nice, see y'all tomorrow!

A good night's sleep makes the world brighter, even if it is grey and rainy:-

Universal Warmup done,
40 Side Bends (EotD) done,
Mr Grinch done (3 sets. Tried the WotD but a sore toe stopped me from Planking),
Day 27 of 10,000 Punches done (Plus an extra 60 missing Punches, glad this one is almost done, not struggling yet but it's becoming a real time sink),
Day 27 of 1000 Calf Raises done,
Ankle Recovery done.

Gotta pop out into the rain, pick up the ingredients for Campfire Stew.
Watched the last episode of one of my favourite Youtube things last night. It was a faux documentary about Batman as if he were a real historical figure from the early 20th century, they planned to cover more superheroes but DC learnt about the project and shut it down. :vsad:

Owners of massively lucrative IPs shutting down much smaller projects that harm them not in the slightest but actually help to promote their IP is so mean and stupid.

@Mamatigerj - It's a good one for achey feet.

@Laura Rainbow Dragon - I'm in two minds about it. Had the Youtube series not basically been an advert for a book they had self-published, DC probably would've left them alone, on the other hand you can't hire models and make-up artists etc. with Likes and enthusiasm.

Glad today was a light exercise day, I've got achey bones:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Knee-to-Elbow (EotD) done,
Slow But Sure done (3 sets),
Day 28 of 10,000 Punches done (All caught up),
Day 28 of 1000 Calf Raises done,
Stretched done.

Campfire Stew is in the slow cooker, only job left is to move the Housemates bed (She's getting an adjustable one from Social Services. She doesn't want it, but she's got to learn not to agree to things just so people will stop talking to you).

See y'all tomorrow!

Another morning of exercise done:-

Universal Warmup done,
10 Cossack Squats (EotD) done,
Made With Love (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 29 of 10,000 Punches done,
Day 29 of 1000 Calf Raises done,
Sore Feet done.

The Housemate has reached a crucial milestone in her recovery, she's well enough for us to resume our old Dr. Who rewatch!

See y'all tomorrow!

Finishing stuff! Woot! :dancy:

Universal Warmup done,
30 Pacer Steps (EotD) done,
Skybreaker done (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 30 of 10,000 Punches done (Finished all the Punching!),
Day 30 of 1000 Calf Raises done (All finished!),
Day 1 of Unbound done (Thought this would make a more interesting substitute for my cool-down stretches),
Ankle Recovery done.

First time I've actually finished a program or challenge the month I've started it, feeling good! :clapclap:

Making Sausage and Gnocchi Soup for dinner, the Housemate still has a little trouble with cutlery, so I'm concentrating on meals you can eat with a spoon.
Starting Fit December tomorrow, let's see if I can finish it this year, see y'all tomorrow!
