    Need Songs for Playlist

It's very individual, as different people get pumped from different songs. E.g. I can't workout to pop or rap songs, despite listening to them in "normal" circumstances. For me the most effective has always been heavy metal. Here are my recent most played (some are repeated from the other music...

    Physical: 100

Yep, ep. 4 is where the real action starts. From then on it's finally getting intense. The competitions are really interesting. I like the focus on team work, with people fulfilling their roles. Definitely. Too bad they are not taken too seriously by other participants, despite the wrestler...

I realised I really don't like bodyweight exercises, ehe

Basically this. I remember when I started doing workouts from Darebee with literally 0% muscle mass I was struggling a lot. If not for my natural stubbornness I would surely quit back then. A few months ago I was struck with how much my capabilities changed. I did a workout the involved an...

Man this show progresses really slow. It took them 3 whole episodes just to finish Quest 1 :sus: And those random replays start to be really annoying. You can basically start watching from Ep 4, where things finally become more interesting and the number of participants is narrowed down so you...

Step count: does anyone have a good method?

What kind of pedometer was that? Was it one of those you wear on your ankle? Because they'd probably be the most accurate. Smartwatches and fitness trackers can only detect arm movements/bumps, and if the motion is regular they register it as a step. This may lead to many false positives...

What is everyone listening to atm?

Is this the ultimate workout song?

    Physical: 100

I watched it. It's basically The Challenge or Ninja Warrior but with 1:1 fights and way too many competitors. After those 2 episodes I'd say it's OK-ish, but nothing to keep you on the edge of your seat. Maybe things get more interesting in the following episodes, when there is less contestants.

    Resolutions 2023

Read at least 5 books this year. It may not be much, but it's still 5 times more than I read in previous years. I used to love books as a kid, but in my adult life I developed a reading OCD, which basically ruined my leisure reading. So I'm taking small steps to improve it. Gonna incorporate...

    Your HARDEST Darebee workout

I learned that simple leather gloves can make the difference. Or leather straps that bodybuilders at the gym use. Still have to test it tbh.

    Your HARDEST Darebee workout

I just remembered one workout I did last spring that literally added blood to my sweat & tears. It's this one: It looks sooo innocent and it's only 3 bars of difficulty. But if you're arms are as weak as mine, you're in for a ride. And where's the blood? Well, I decided to protect my...

    Amount of reps

Reps are given in total. If it says 10 reps then it's 5 per side. You'll find all the info in the manual: https://darebee.com/manual.html

    resistance band recommendations

I bought mine online and the one advice I can give is don't buy online, unless you know the exact length you're comfortable with. I have a set of different lengths, but even the longest is too short for some exercises, e.g. when you step on the middle of the band and do curls. So I advise...

What is everyone listening to atm?

Recently it must be this: It makes my warmups 100x more intense.

Do you add sets and reduce rest time at the same time?

You've got a nice algorithm, but don't treat it like a sacred law written in stone. Adjust it to what you're capable of at the moment. I'd say don't decrease your rest times when advancing to the next level. See how your body reacts. Maybe then you'll be able to do those reps you mentioned...

Carrying some boxes felt very hard

Work on your endurance. Focus on exercises that make you hold your position for long periods of time, e.g. planks, squat holds (leg endurance is also important), if you have a pull up bar - hang on your arms as long as you can. If you have barbells, hold them as long as you can (e.g. with...

    New Name Suggestions

I used to have this approach, that my public username should be somehow relevant. In the past this led me even to postpone creating an account on some sites because I couldn't come up with a meaningful name  But that was long ago, and I noticed since then that no one really cares about my...

    Advice needed - Post-Surgery Training

I am no doctor, but if I had a serious surgery and wanted to resume workouts, I'd start slow, eg. with the easiest ones on this site. Only if they felt too easy I'd work my way up to the point where I could have just enough challenge. On Darebee you can filter workouts by difficulty. This may...

What video games are you currently playing?

@HAWKWIND Graven looks cool, though there are 0% chances that it will work well on my 2015 computer. Yeah, source ports are a godsend. I remember playing some Doom on my phone via PrBoom port years back. It looked nice on a small screen, probably would look ugly on a TV. You can upscale the...
