Busiest time of the year for gyms. The crowds will drop off quickly. (I'd avoid Mondays for a while though. Mondays are usually the busiest night.)
I go to the gym in the morning, so no matter how many people there are in a large gym, they get lost, and it's even more impressive when there are more of them than usual.
Anyway, as a creature of habit, I'm waiting for things to get back to normal. :LOL:

Today in the program we had to choose a weapon: Stormhammer, I modified the exercises a bit and used a single kettlebell to do a bicep curls into press overhead and then followed by upright rows, an interesting and invented compound. :)

I had low energy today, but I managed to get through everything, including a tightness behind my left shoulder, probably from swinging with the 32kg kettlebell.
It's a little pain, nothing major, and I hope to be able to recover fully over the next two days of active recovery. :)

I trained yesterday too, but I was a bit sluggish, so I couldn't even log in. Today in the gym went well, even though I'm not at my best. I'm doing 17 reps per set and shouldn't have any problems getting to 20 as planned. I'm having trouble with any exercise, aside from fatigue. :)

Martial arts aside, I've always trained haphazardly, depending on what I felt like doing, without any specific goals. I've been training consistently for years, but without any logical structure to my training. Now I'm developing a holistic view of training, and it's very interesting.
I still don't have any specific goals, other than health and maintaining high levels of functionality over time, but now I'm starting to look at the whole training experience, the individual components, but also their unfolding over time. :)

I really struggled in the gym today, which proved me right in wanting to finish this training cycle early and then do a recharge week.
I think I've developed a nice training plan with AI that I can continue indefinitely; we'll see if it holds up to the test of reality. :D

I finished the challenge and also an :completed:8-week gym training cycle, next time I'll do a nice and cuddly deload and then we'll start again.
I'm starting to like my gym workouts (which I messed up) and I'm also starting to like the idea of intelligent periodization of training. :)

This morning I pruned the fruit trees to avoid the same thing as last year when they were all in flower within a week, so I started early to be safe, given the seasons we have now that the plants never know when to flower. :P
I haven't found any challenges that appeal to me, so I'm keeping it light with just the program. I've changed the warmup just to vary it a bit. :)

I added neck rotations in the warm up and now it's perfect.
Doing only 3 sets of the program was the right choice, I am always able to do 3 sets under any conditions and it is fun to add a little extra movement without performance stress.
Today I finished pruning the fruit trees in the garden and tidied up a bit, I'm satisfied. :)

My first deload workout at the gym went well. I took it easy and enjoyed the exercises. It was all strangely short, 20 minutes and I had finished the main exercises, but that's okay, I needed some active recovery.
I'm already rewatching the heavy club training videos, and next week I'll start doing them again at a minimum because they're interesting exercises that are functional, which I appreciate. :)
