I really like the blue-violet color of the sky and water in the Amsterdam picture, it's very peaceful 😊
Thank you for sharing!
Bon courage pour apprendre le français, it usually takes us french around 10 years to speak and write it correctly... I always thought it would be really hard to learn if I had not been born in it 😅
On the other hand I'm trying to learn german and it's really difficult for me 😅😅😅

@JCU Amsterdam has a lot of beautiful buildings and canals, and a lot of history. It is therefore also a very busy city.

@Tileenah merci beaucoup! Und viel Glück mit die deutsche Sprache! I grew up hearing a lot of German (besides that it looks a lot like Dutch) which makes that easy for me.

Monday March 13th
After work I did a run. The weather turned from cold and rainy yesterday, to 17°C and sun today. It was só nice! And beautiful sunset 😊
Pico wanted to come along again, I shut the door behind me, but she rushed out of the cat door to follow me. At the corner of the street when I was speeding she cried loud, like really loud. But I couldn't take her because of a railway and a busy road.

@Lady Celerity thank you! This was actually a 1 hour drive from my home, which means I crossed 3 rivers and 2 large cities. I'm trying a few different national parks in the Netherlands
@Tileenah yw!
@TopNotch yes it is! I'm definitely going back to hike the total route
@Anek thanks!

Monday March 20th
I'm going to try a new approach. I ditch the challenges for now. I'm too tired to do it all and I want to train for my vacation, so that gets priority. I selected a few workouts based on focus (legs, abs, stretching), and I'll try to do 1 every day.

I chose to lose my daily walk and step streak. Actually 1 day too late, because I did my short hike yesterday despite me thinking I shouldn't. Today I feel my left calf, where I had my first injury a few years back. I'm scared it's back, but it seems to feel more like a bit of DOMS and tension from doing a tad too much. So I decided to have a few rest days, skip my run tomorrow and hopefully it turns out to be nothing serious and I will be able to resume training towards my vacation... 🤞
I thought I had to lise my exercise streak too, but then realised I could easily do the arms of steel chair ed.

@Gandhalfit thank you :thanks:

Thursday March 23rd
I don't know how my calf is doing. Walking today at work felt okay. But sometimes, while doing nothing special like just sitting at my desk or lying at the couch, I feel things. A distinct nagging, burning feeling. And this was exactly how it was before. So maybe my brain makes things up because I'm scared I caused it to come back. Or maybe it is back. And I'm not sure what's the best way to go. Because doing nothing also made it feel worse in the past. I might try a short walk tomorrow, if it feels okayish at work. I don't know how to deal with this emotionally.. the last 5 years I have been dealing constantly with injuries while doing nothing extraordinary. I just wish to be able to do  normal things.. it feels like I'm being punished for I don't know what..

@JCU @Montserrat @Whirly @TheLibrarian @CODawn @daejamurrachan thank you :thanks:
@Fremen thanks! That is good news indeed. Bad news is that I have no one to point my anger to.. 😅

@Tileenah thank you :thanks: with this injury I have been to a sports doctor in the past, short story: nerve irritation because it was a burning pain and it was located exactly at the point where the ultrasound showed the nerve. Referred me to a physio but it made things worse. In the process of the next 3 years I found Darebee, I learned to slow down, try to listen to my body and senses and that was eventially the key. I have trouble feeling and interpreting non-sharp pain. So everything vague, makes me doubt myself: what do I feel? Is it real? And the answer should be yes, and I should act. That is where it went wrong the first time. But when I'm anxious I hyper focus on it, checking it too much (the touching and poking is also not really helping) which makes it feel worse, but there's something there already.
