Complete newbie, checking if I'm doing it right

I'm on day 4 of Hero's Journey, and so far it's been good, but I have a couple of questions to check if I'm doing it ok.

  1. Day 1 was 60 reps and 4 excercises. I understand that if an excercise is split between different body sides (like left/right leg) then the rep count is split. Right? As in if I have to do 30 climbers, that's 15 on the left leg, and 15 on the right.
  2. Also, Day one said 60 reps TOTAL. Does that mean I have to divide 60 among 4 excercises? or 60 each (240 total)?
  3. How long should a superman stretch last?
  4. I'm doing excercise 2 days a week for now, plan to do 3 soon. Is that ok? Or should I do it every day? https://darebee.com/fitness/training-on-the-weekends-vs-training-every-day.html says that some days is better than none, and all days is better than some (if I understood correctly). BUT my common knowledge (which might be wrong) says that I NEED to rest between excercise days. I really want to build a good habit out of this...
Thank you!

First of all WELCOME! It's awesome to have you here! :perfect:

1. Yes, so taking Day 1, the side leg raises, you do 30 with your left leg, 30 with your right.

2. The 60 reps is for each exercize, so you do 60 side leg raises, 60 squats, 60 toe tap hops, 60 climbers. The note on the bottom to split into manageable sets means you don't have to do all 60 at once, you can break them up as needed.

3. Superman stretches are basically reverse crunches, you go up, you go down, you don't have to hold them.

4. The Darebee programs are designed with active resting days, so you can do them every day of the week without worrying about injury. That being said, it's always good to listen to your body and your fitness level. If 2-3 days a week is what works best for you, then that's what's best for you! There are no 'rules' for how to do the programs here, it's all self directed. If you find that doing a program every day is too much, then take a day and just do the "Exercize of the day" on the main page, or see about one of the single work outs that might be lower intensity. Darebee is about getting you moving on your terms :)
