Haunted Hive 2025: Firewall Breach
The Hive is under attack.
Someone - or something - has cracked our outer firewall and slipped past security. Malicious code is flooding the system. Hostile constructs are spawning in every sector. They’re coordinated, relentless, and they’re not stopping. If we don’t contain the breach, the Hive goes dark.
Our job: defend the core.
We have three incoming attack waves. Each wave will hit in sequence over the course of the event, and each one will be stronger, faster, and more corrupt than the last. We either hold the line together or we lose everything.

Defense Protocol
- Each enemy type can only be purged with a specific physical action (an exercise) and a specific number of reps.
- Your reps are your attack packets. Do the exercise, log your reps in the event thread, and help track the running total with everyone else.
- All reps from DAREBEE workouts and DAREBEE challenges count toward the purge.
- As we add our numbers together, the remaining enemy count will be updated in the thread so everyone can see how close we are to cleaning the wave.
- Each wave ends when all hostile entities AND the wave boss are eliminated.
- If you clear a wave before the 24 hours are up, you’ve contained that breach. Regroup, recharge, and prep for the next intrusion window.
Badges / Proof of Defense
The Haunted Hive is an annual planned event. It will be back next year and the year after that. Hive Defenders who show up in real time earn recognition.
If you take part while the event is active, you can claim a unique profile badge to mark that you stood on the firewall and helped protect the Hive.
The badge can only be claimed by actively participating during the 72-hour window. No late claims, no retroactive unlocks.

Event Timeline
This is a three-day operation (72 hours total).
Every 24 hours a new wave of hostile code invades the system and a new challenge is deployed for us to respond to.
Fight off all malicious entities before October 28th, 10:00 EEST (Athens time).
