I'm getting slack about checking in again! I'm currently doing relatively easy training. I've dropped running for now, as much as I enjoy it - once I get my health back on track I'll pick it up again. For now though, reducing my training intensity and load seems like the smartest move.

April was quite a relaxed month. I dropped running and cycling after the first week, having decided to take it easier while I'm figuring out my health issues.

Other than daily walks, I did Spellbound and Unbound as well as starting a few challenges. My overall health doesn't seem to have changed, though I am noticing several of the metrics I've been tracking have begun to improve, so it's possible that something I'm doing is helping. I'm going to continue with my current training plan for the next few months and see what happens. I have some appointments coming up in the next couple of weeks, so hopefully I'll get some answers soon.

I decided to start Total Body Strength and 2 Minute Abs as my new programs. Two minute abs is perfect for me at the moment; ab workouts generally seem to make my digestive issues worse, but these workouts seem short enough to avoid that problem.

I haven't done much since my last check-in; it wasn't a great week for my health so I've been taking it easy. I had few bad bays where I could only really stomach ginger tea and toast (thankfully I seem to be improving now), and another useless appointment with a specialist (in nearly two years, we've effectively ruled out one thing. Now they're telling me I should see a different specialist, because they have no idea). I'm going to see my GP next week to get her opinion; two years feels like way too long to have made no progress.

Cheer up, mate. Medical issues tend to go slowly, you tend to go round and round until you finally find someone who cares and knows where to go from here. Patience and I hope everything goes well. Best regards

I felt quite a bit better this weekend, but I'm going to keep taking it easy for now. I'd like to get back into walking; I've been slack with that since the weather has cooled down - I love morning walks, but the circulation in my fingers does not, so I've been waiting until the weather warms up to walk, and then too often I run out of time.
