I am in this boat and am glad for the company.
I agree about sleep being so important. I've always been a pretty decent sleeper, thankfully. On the occasions I don't sleep well now - wow do I notice! And I used to love wine, but am finding I don't really want it any longer (which is kind of sad, but my hot flashes are grateful). I still have a glass with dinner maybe once every other month or so, but it's definitely something that's in my rearview mirror.
I'm currently doing the SOMA 40+, walking, and yoga. I've casually been moving to a more plant-based diet (not entirely, but most days) and eating a lot of beans and lentils in things - thank you all for the reminder about tofu because I haven't had that in some time. Adding it to my grocery list!
My Vit. D levels were low last time I had bloodwork, so I've started supplements based on my dietitian's recommendation. Vit. D, Calcium, L-Glutamine, and a multi-vitamin in the morning, magnesium glycinate in the evening.
Lots of great tips in this thread though! Thanks all!
