Thanks everyone! Good to see you Rainbow & Fremen! Planning on sticking around for a long time.
Well, the Woodlands Marathon agreed to change my full marathon to a half (only charged me $12 for the privilege) and I'm going to use the Marathon Handbook's 6 week Half Marathon program. Not sure the link will work courtesy of their information harvesting efforts. JPG below.
I plan on continuing to use Darebee's sandbag and kettlebell workouts for the strength training days and heavy clubs and mace on the rest days. And with that, I need to go suit up, warm up and then swing a mace and see which of Heroic Sport's Hanuman workouts I'm going to do today. Update later.

Back at it after a few days of galloping gut horrors that peaked on Thursday. Wednesday was a rest day. Thursday I was sick and didn't run. Friday I decided to play it safe and rest.

So 6 mile run this morning followed by errands and getting the MIL to the Screenshot_20230128-144135~2.pngScreenshot_20230128-111300~2.pngsalon.

Tomorrow another rest, but I'll hit the club and mace probably. And see if I've done 12 Hanuman Mada rounds yet.

A few days late.
Anyway, Wednesday was a rest day, not a "rest" day.
Thursday was a short run day (4 miles) and a pretty good one, followed by some club work.
Friday was strength training bag and tag 5 sets plus kettlebells for Middle Distance Runners.
Today was a long (7.5 mile run).
