"’’A person’s reason for doing someone a good turn matters as much as the good turn itself.’’ - The Neverending Story"
Em hotep, little creatures of the multiverse! This is Anpuankhses speaking, your trusted Anubian wolf! Many moons have passed since my last short visit to this plane, I hope this time my stay will be longer and more fruitful.
What can I say that I can't already tell just by looking at me? Son of Anubis, necromancer, pyromancer, a bookworm with the brain of a sphinx always thirsty for knowledge to assimilate and new puzzles and riddles to solve, lover of tea, and a long etc.
I grew up doing all kinds of sports, especially martial arts. To take advantage of my rather strong constitution. It should also be said that I have never ever had a good cardiovascular development. So I've always been more of a tank type: strong and resistant but slow and with very little stamina. You should have seen me defending my father's temple from Apep in my good old days!
However, over time roles change, and I went from temple guardian to higher and more bureaucratic ranks. And after years of sedentary life among papyrus, scrolls, bandages, mummies and canopic jars along with the comfort of much more advanced magic and hundreds of ushabtis to take chores off my hands, I feel that my body no longer responds as it used to. I get tired much more easily and every physical effort starts to feel tiring and heavy.
To this I must add that I recently discovered that I belong to the very select group of autistic creatures. And now I understand that my attention is much more selective, my energy limited, and it is much easier for certain events to completely override me and leave me fatigued and out of action for days. To this I must add a hypersensitivity to textures and a hyposensitivity to flavors that makes my diet very, very specific and, unfortunately, it has turned out that my comfort food consists mostly of highly processed foods with a derisory nutritional contribution.
Nevertheless, I am determined to bring my body to its former glory and beyond. And to that end I have come here and used Darebee's workouts and programs to plan a whole campaign to help me achieve this goal.
Based on the retro arcade game "Altered Beast", I have created a total of 7 folders:
- Insert coin and press start: Where I have workouts thought out in the warm-up prior to the training session.
- Rise from your grave!: Where are the level 1 programs and workouts.
- Power Up!: Level 2 programs and workouts.
- Power Up!!!: Level 3 programs and workouts.
- Transformation!: Level 4 programs and workouts.
- Welcome to your Doom!: Level 5 programs and workouts.
- Game Over: Cool down workouts after the training session.
With this preparation I hope to have the necessary motivation to reach my goals and to be consistent with my objectives!
That's all! See you all in the field of reeds!
