I've had some dizziness and came close to fainting the past 2 days. I really hate this feeling. Always clinging to a wall or just have to squat down and wait it out. (On 18 December I can see the doctor, most likely it is just anemia/low iron).

I keep waking up around 5 am. I didn't do anything extra this morning. I might decide to add something later to my day.

I keep looking out for the "Christmas Ornaments" Event this year. What colour or ornaments will it be!?

All has been well. Had some time for myself the past few days. I feel way more relaxed. I do my best to release all the year's stress. I do eat a little more than usual but I walk and move way more so I suppose it's alright.

I tried to do a little more extras with my workouts. I haven't decided what my exercise or fitness goal will be for the next few months. I think I need to plan something for next year and stay consistent.

Made my own Christmas star, just have to glue on more glitter, wasn't too sure if my cold glue would mess up the cardboard I used (I painted silver acrylic paint over a brown cardboard). So far it's fine. Very strong. Just need way more glitter!

Still deciding on the ornament. Love the dragon, but push-ups are crazy hard for me. Could try... I feel I could if I don't overthink it. Nothing could probably stop me from trying. There is some time left to test myself.
:super:

The week so far was alright, had no issues with the other exercises. I felt quite good the past 2 days. Incorporated some Jump Rope into my routine. Think I might keep doing it for some time.

Woke up at 4:19 am again... yes, again, the exact same time as a few days ago. I blame the neighbors cat for that! He jumped into my bedroom, and gave me a jump scare. Like a fox. Of course I had to get up and take him outside. 🙄
Happy Bbc Earth GIF by BBC America

Decided to look at the stars, watched the satellites and stars. There was a surprisingly coldness in the air (and it's summer here!), but it is supposed to rain tomorrow. We get winter rain, summer rain is a rarity or even a luxury. It will be 30C today and drop to 22C tomorrow.

Did some Push-ups (5,5,4,2) on the patio outside. Then some Squats and also the Jump Rope. More Push-ups (4,4,3,3). After my first cup of coffee I did the rest of my exercises indoors. And a few more Push-ups (5,5). They are killing me! And then another few (4,3,3) a little later. I might do more throughout the day. Like 5 or so here and there.

I will get to 500 Push-ups! I might not need the Squats backup.

Yesterday I did an additional 60 Push-ups. Mostly 5-8 at a time. It really is taking a toll on me but so worth it. I really focus on my form to get them perfect. It's harder, but I feel I have to do my best. I have finished my Squats so even if I fail, I can say I did the most perfect Push-ups I did in my entire life!

That sounds super lame. 😂 Me being proud of doing a good postured Push-ups. Small victories... what can I say. It was a tough year. I have to focus on the small s.... victories. 😂 But a perfect Push-ups is no small matter!!! It is like the highest achievement in my life right now!!! 😂😂🤭

Today, I got up a little later. I had a lazy morning. Right before 7am I started my programs and additional Jump rope, my last squats for Ornaments (which is my backup Ornament) and then started my Push-ups.

So, I did 15 Push-ups this morning, and every hour from an additional 7 until 16pm. I might do a few more this evening. 234/500 Push-ups so far over 2 days. That is a lot of me. I can feel them!!!!
:soaked:

It's raining a little bit this side. Very nice and pleasant at 22C right now. Love it! The weather give me more energy, but my iron levels is bad today. Can't move too much, then I get a headache and nausea. I get dizzy very often. It affects my ears. But I'm good. I don't feel too bad. I feel... like I'm inside a bubble today. Can't wait to see that doctor next week!

I did another 25 Push-ups yesterday evening. So DOMS has become an issue. 😅 Wall Push-ups had to be done in-between regular ones to compensate for my weak upperbody. I did 91 for today, and I'm done. Completely done! I won't be doing more. I tried to do them earlier so my body can rest for 24 hours until I do them again tomorrow after lunch time.

So close to finishing the Push-ups. :hophop:
I still have a little DOMS but it's not as bad as yesterday. I also had foot cramps briefly this morning. Gosh... can this get any worse!? I actually started a little earlier with the Push-ups and didn't wait for 24 hours to pass (to rest my body a little). Did a combination of regular Push-ups (mostly), knee Push-ups and wall Push-ups. Also a few Close grip, wide grip, holding onto a dumbbell... tried a few combinations.

While I was exercising, the neighbors cat brought in a dead baby bird. The chick barely had feathers, initially I thought it was a mouse, but then saw the beak and legs. And the cat had this demonic low growl. Luckily the bird was dead and the cat decided to eat the rest. How can I interfere with nature? Less to clean up after a cat which isn't mine. (And it was on tiles luckily too!!) 😅 He ate Torisashi, I did Push-ups. It was a win-win situation. I am glad cats don't give kisses like dogs!!!!!

I feel alright. Tired and sore, but I made it!!! You would think my programs and challenge is only a little workout, but in combination with the Push-ups, I really feel it.

I won't be doing anything extra today, and tomorrow. I will see how my body feels towards Wednesday. I am still seeing the doctor on Thursday for my iron deficiency or anemia issue. I want to say I'm doing well under the circumstances. I noticed I have been getting cramps under my feet since Saturday (briefly), and today I have very tight calf muscles. I do think it's related to the iron issue, and in combination with exercise (pushing myself) and maybe a little dehydration. I also have a very loud heartbeat, but it's not fast. 68 - 70 beats a minute average, not fast, just loud which made me worry a little. But I'm still good. I can relax now.

I won't be pushing myself hard until I see that doctor. And I might take it easier for the rest of December. Or until the iron issue gets better.

65 minutes walk around a park

Today is a public holiday and on top of that it is summer school holiday. So I wanted to avoid leaving the house, but I opted for a walk around the park behind the house. There was more people than usual, especially people with dogs while I was there. It was still not crowded since the park is quite big with a wide path to jog or walk on. The weather is amazing. Mild and cloudy, slightly windy to break the heat. I love this day.

I am having a barbecue now and making sweet potatoes, chicken, sausages, and salad. I only had some overnight oats with fresh cherries this morning. I'm starving!!! 😅 It's cherry season here. Bought a 2kg box of the most beautiful cherries yesterday. It's locally produced. I made some jarred ones in little light syrup, some in alcohol syrup, the rest is to eat fresh. I prefer them fresh. I think the sweet ones will pair nice with Camembert cheese or a cheese platter.

Had a visitor in the garden again. Cape Dwarf chameleon.

I decided to double up on my programs/challenges. Simply because I didn't feel like doing anything else besides the existing exercises.

Yesterday, I deep cleaned my bedroom and a spare room, and 1 of the bathrooms. Will do the rest of the house tomorrow and the weekend. And maybe next Monday too. Depending on how far I get. I skipped cleaning today.

This morning I found 3 chameleons. 2 next to each other, the one I found 2 days ago, and she was hissing at a male (I took his photo too, will post it below). And then I found a 3rd one. I DIDN'T take a photo, but it was a female, slightly bigger and very green, with only half a tail, walking on the ground by our kitchen. Their tails don't grow back. I placed her in the front garden, on the ground. I suppose she will struggle climbing. (The cat was in the back garden.) She will be safer in front. I've never in my entire life found so many chameleons on one day. 3 is very lucky. They are not so common to see anymore because of their loss of habitat. I was truly blessed. The 3rd one with the short tail inspired me to do a body transformation program next.

I wanted to write about the incident today, but decided not to dwell on the negatives. I am going to simply wait out this year and hope 2026 will be a little better year. 😅 All is well so far.

I have been way more relaxed since early November.

Sometimes it's best not to make plans, and just live for the moment rather than having huge disappointments. Live spontaneously and enjoy what you have (positively) rather than dwelling on the negatives.

I struggled a little today. I had some cramping in my calves, later in my feet too. I just been feeling overwhelmed most of today with everything I still need to do before next week. I can only see the doctor on 8 January now. (Long story). I can't seem to think clearly. Just feel like there is a mountain on my shoulders.

The day wasn't all bad. I just feel like complaining a little tonight!

I have had zero issues today.
Yeah... what can I say. No cramps, no fatigue, no dizziness. There might be a faint heart fluttering, but that feeling isn't so obvious today. I feel "normal", although I can still say the anemia is there... just it is a better day, or the best I've felt in a few days. I really don't understand this. It's the hottest day. Under the circumstances I should feel like a wreck, but the day went well so far. No complaints this time. 😁

I won't do anything else today. I will rest up for tomorrow. I hope tomorrow will be good too.

I actually did another day (25) yesterday evening, and also did 3x days today. I had minor foot cramps in the middle of my right foot mainly. But it isn't like a regular shooting cramp. More like a dull cramp feeling that stays for hours. I took some additional magnesium since yesterday and it seemed to help tremendously. I'm not quite sure how I will be able to do a Body Transformation program for 6 weeks while I'm like this.... all I can do is laugh at the ridiculous situation. Today I also felt good health wise. It was just very hot here again.

Not quite sure how to approach my next "program" with what I had in mind. It is a pity I cannot start Day 1 on a Monday, but I also don't want to wait until next week. Will still think of a solution. This week might be challenging to start something new.

Tuesday, 23 December - Thursday, 25 December 2025

The past 3 days I did not start a new program or workout.

I am not going to post the random/detailed exercises I tried and tested, but I will mention my walks - around ~5km in the early mornings, and on a machine for 35 minutes in the evenings. I am still not quite sure what to do next. The body recomp idea might be too hard under the circumstances. I do feel like a too strenuous workout might make my iron deficiency anemia worse during this summer heat. I do not have soreness, cramps, dizziness and it seems I am doing significantly better already, but I do not want to push my luck and put my health at risk again. I do want to do something challenging. I need to find the right balance.

I will probably continue to walk for a few more days.

I felt much better health wise the past few days, despite the heat. The nights is quite hot too. Last night I could not rest, due to the weather, and impulsively started writing/blogging a short story. More like a daily Log of an Alien who crashed on Earth. It is the most impulsive thing I have ever done. I even have a pen name - Nyx Cain. Crazy what heat does to a person.

And this is Sael.

The Sael Log1.png

(Notice his appearance - from the skinks in my garden, the cat's eyes, I also decided he needed to be a little muscular!) :muahaha:

This morning, I chose not to go on my usual longer walk. Instead, I opted for a much shorter one, heading to a nearby children’s playground—about 2.2 km in total. It felt different from the previous days, slower and less demanding.

I also ate more than I usually do, it left me feeling a bit guilty afterward.

I did a short workout later: squats, lunges, calf raises, clamshells, side leg raises, and standing leg circles. Just a few reps of each, three sets in total. Nothing intense—just enough to move my body and feel present.

The rest of the day slipped by as I tried to get my blog working properly on the mobile version, without much success. I also spent a large portion of the day writing and rewriting a very simple storyline—circling the same ideas and concepts again and again. I’m not entirely sure what I want to accomplish with it yet.

For now, I think I simply need this hobby, even if it doesn’t have a clear purpose. I changed my character, Sael, yet again, and perhaps that says something about where my thoughts are—still shifting, still searching.

Happy New Year!

It has been a few days since my last post. It was truly uneventful; I did the same routine daily. Walking on a machine, walking around a park or jumping rope. Squats, punches, jumping jacks, seal jacks - basic exercises, a few reps here and there. It was a hot week. I did most of the exercises early in the morning or early in the evening.

I have no specific New Year’s resolution for 2026. Last year was the most unpredictable, unplanned, and chaotic year of my life. I was constantly in unpredictable situations and emergencies. I would like to add that, despite all the trauma, it made me realise I am mentally stronger than I knew. Keeping it together, not falling apart, accepting the curveballs life threw at me at high speed.

For 2026, I have no specific goal. I will take each day, each week, and each month as it comes. Over the past week, I made a few small changes: deleting a few online games that did not benefit me in any way. I wasted time on something that serves no purpose or growth in my life.

I will start a new programme tomorrow, though I have not decided on a specific one. January will be busy from next week.

I spent the last two days writing and walking.

I started a new programme today — Locked In (Day 1: Cardio) — and also walked for about 40 minutes around the park behind the house. It was a very hot morning. Clouds gathered in the afternoon, and the weather became much more pleasant. I will still do some light yoga later, most likely closer to bedtime.

The day has otherwise been exceptionally quiet.

Locked-in (Day 2)
Walk (machine): ~65 minutes
Jump Rope: 5 minutes
Yoga: 25 minutes

I initially planned to do more exercise today, but my dad wasn’t feeling well in the morning, so I worked out indoors to keep an eye on him. His health improved after about an hour, and I was able to do some jump rope. Five minutes of jumping took around twelve minutes because of breaks, and the heat made it much harder. I also did some light yoga later.

On 31 December, I found a dead chameleon in our garden with no obvious cause. Today, I found another chameleon alive, but she refused to eat or drink and looked extremely thin. She had only half a tail and stayed close to the ground, possibly the same one I saw a few days ago. There is little I can do for her. We do not get summer rain in my area, and dehydration is common in wild chameleons. I have never seen this before, and it is very sad. I hope she makes it.

Locked-in (Day 3)

Another hot day. I woke up a little later than usual. I had stomach pain for most of the day, along with some back pain and sore feet.
ferris buellers day off ugh GIF

I assume it was bad indigestion and yesterday's walk and jump rope. I took it easy and only completed "Day 3" of Locked-in, which was Abs Day, then rested for the remainder of the day. (I didn't feel worse while exercising.)

I went outside a few times and gently sprayed the chameleon (see previous post about her*) with fine water from a spray bottle. She drank from the leaves of her plant but refused to take any insects. She looked slightly more alert today.

Otherwise, the day was very quiet. I should be good again in no time!

Locked-in (Day 4 - 11)

I haven’t posted in a while, but all has been well. My health is good, and I’ve been exercising regularly—some days lightly, other days a bit more, including walking, jumping rope, strength work, bodyweight exercises and yoga.

The past few days have been difficult due to the summer heat and nearby fires. Smoke and ash have affected the air quality, and my eyes were particularly irritated on Friday, even with the windows closed. There were several large fires in the area, ranging from about 40 km to as close as 7 km away.

Thankfully, autumn is approaching and the fire season will soon come to an end. I’ve also been focusing on improving my diet, especially increasing protein and iron-rich foods. Overall, things are going well.

Locked-in (Day 12 - 26)

😅 I am still around. I am really enjoying the program. I include walking, nearly daily. More or less 3km to 7,5km at least 4 - 5 days a week, or then on a machine the other days. I have 2 parks to pick from around my house.
