As every year, December has been hectic on board. What I've logged here was literally the best I could've done. The last couple of weeks have been a constant work & prep for the holidays and New Year's celebration. I spent a significant amount of time working on 2 additional projects with my team - we actually shot 2 videos & organized a little production. Even though everything else went out of the window, those 2 videos are the first thing I'm proud of creatively in almost 2 years! So I finally have something else to add to my portfolio.
Moving onwards, I will polish my plans for the next year by the end of this year. Thank you all for your kindness and support!

Before moving on and re-visiting my workout plan, I would like to finish everything I haven't done so far (looking at you, Fit DECEMBER!). One of the things I'm trying to work on is to follow through whatever I've started. Of course not just for the sake of finishing it but more to build a habit of finishing projects. The amount of unfinished creative ideas sitting all over my notes are actually giving me a headache and I haven't really done anything this year (apart from those 2 awesome December corpo films).

I finally finished Fit December. I'm glad I stuck with it and now I'm finally ready to move on. It was a nice program.

I woke up on Jan 1st broken as hell. I couldn't move, I was exhausted and my whole body hurt. I recognize a burnout and that was (is?) a classic burnout. I took as much time off work as possible (I feel guilty about it but screw it - me first). I worked out as much as I could and I'm glad I did it. I'm also realizing that foam rolling is something I've been missing in my routine so I will do it 2-3x/week. I feel like a new person after each session. I've also decided that I will do at least one yoga, stretching or foam rolling workout per day. As I get older, I'm feeling the value of mobility work and stretching. I need to work on that.

Glad to report that I'm still alive and ok. Nothing in my life at the moment is extraordinary but I'm in a period where good enough is good enough for me.

Moving onward, I will focus more on some personal projects and I need to get my sh*t together and finish a big work project as well. Starting the year on a positive vibe. :)

The calf muscle on my right leg hurts like hell. I've decided to listen to my body so I'll be doing yoga, stretching, foam rolling & low-impact bodyweight for the next 7 days and see where I end up. To be honest, I've been ignoring it for the past couple of days but I think that's not the way (& I ended up making it worse). I need to start accepting that sometimes my body just needs rest.

I had to do a 5-day mandatory quarantine, spent the first couple of days sleeping and now I feel much much better. Covid wasn't as bad the second time around. I'm not at my full power yet but I'm more than functional.
