Hello fitness buddies.
I want to get my self together and change unhealthy habits, that i have for a long time. About me, i 'm very overweght with a BMI of 37.7. 30 year old male. a have not been in to sports for more then 10 years. I already have dietary and medication recomendations from my dietologist. But i want to start beeng more active. I ran through the Darebee programms, where there so much different beginner excercieses programms, i just cannot choose by my self. May be, you can advice some combinations of programms to up my endurance? Only the exercise time is limited to a ~ 60 min. almost every morning, because i'm usually working ~400 h a month. I don't have any past injuries, or other excercise restrictions.

Hi! Welcome 😊 You can maybe start with the Foundation Programs or any level 1-2 program. See how you do with them. Here are some I would suggest. The filter in the programs section is very handy for finding them!

Vitality is a nice general fitness program, https://www.darebee.com/programs/vitality-program.html

Or maybe Reboot https://www.darebee.com/programs/reboot-program.html

Or 60 Days of Walking https://www.darebee.com/programs/60-days-of-walking.html

The difficulty of any program can be modified by lowering or increasing the number of sets of the circuit, or increasing/decreasing resting time.

There are also modifications to make any given exercise easier. https://www.darebee.com/modifications.html

A program geared toward general fitness, that includes both Cardio and Strength, should help a lot in increasing overall endurance over time.

Unless you want some specific endurance for your job, in which case you only need to decide which works harder in your career? Your heart and lungs (cardio endurance) or your muscles (strength endurance). You can choose based on that in the filters.

There are also programs that are specifically designed to be added onto any one you're already doing.

Overall, choose one that you can keep up with for that duration of time, even if it means choosing an easier program/level.

Because right now, it's more important for you to build the habit of doing something everyday than to go all out, and risk the workout being so hard that you want to give up on exercising altogether.

You can always increase the difficulty later.

Other suggestions: Create a Check-in thread to keep accountable and celebrate your victories with the Hive, if you'd like. Darebee is a judgment-free zone. 😁
