"Getting strong enough to keep two tiny humans from unaliving themselves."
There's lots of things you can use, greek yogurt or skyr (Icelandic yogurt) are both very high in protein and mix well in smoothies.

For snacks, using legumes like chick peas, black or red beans, or peas can give a protein boost too.

Darebee has a recipe website called Darebeets. I filtered it by High Protein snacks to get this list here. Definitely give it a check for ideas :)

-make a big smoothie out of one banana, some frozen berries, two BIG teaspoons of peanut butter, some honey to taste and real milk. I calculated for myself between 700-850 calories.

-5 fried eggs (on toast)

-quick and easy but not cheap: Tuna steaks (just sear the outside, keep the inside raw, quick and tasty) with some fried frozen veggies.

-dried sausages as a snack to go

edit:
orrr why do you say no whey? Do you have trouble with lactose? Because another cheap and easy source would be to chug 1l of milk.

I don't have access to whey and people online only talk about that.

Oh hun yeah the downfall of the interwebs. They have everyone thinking without whey or flavor chunks you don't get enough protein.
So according to your settings you are from Canada. Let's see, chickpeas, beans, lentils, milk, yogurt, eggs, skyr. Love that btw, you can make some wonderful protein pancakes with skyr and oats.
How about duck? Chicken, turkey, oh low fat milk I think has a higher protein count. Check labels. I don't drink cows milk I use soy milk.
Next step, stop believing you need the extra products. They aren't needed. You need nutritional knowledge of what you personally enjoy eating the protein you are already consuming and then go from there. Maybe you have someone to help?
