Log Titles, Blank Titles and Editing Old Entries - The Tiny Manual We Should Have Written First
We built the new log entries, patted ourselves on the back and then noticed something: quite a few of you didn't know the title box does things. Our fault entirely. Here is the manual we forgot to include.
Every entry has its own title
When you post a new entry in your log the title box comes pre-filled with today's date. That is just a suggestion. You can:
There is no right option. Some people like dates, some like titles, some like nothing. All three look fine.
Older entries can be changed too
Already have pages of entries with no titles or titles you'd like to tweak? The Edit button on any of your own posts opens the same box. You can add a title where there was none, change one or remove one. Nothing else in the entry is touched.
If anything here doesn't behave the way we've described it we would love to hear about it below. Our testing was thorough but it was also just us.

- keep the date as it is and post
- type your own title over it ("Leg day of regret", "Week 3", "Back after the flu" - anything)
- delete it completely and leave the box empty - the entry then shows no heading at all and reads like a plain journal page
