If you understand Spanish and have access to RTVE videos, I recommend a video from Órbita Laika called “Lactasa e intolerancia a la lactosa.”

To summarise, it explains that lactose-free milk does contain lactose, but lactase has been added to it. Lactose is a “double sugar” made up of glucose and galactose, and lactase breaks it down into those two sugars so that your body can digest them and use them for energy. The intestines of people who can normally drink milk produce lactase. If they can't produce enough lactase, it causes lactose intolerance.

If other dairy products don't affect you that much, you could try goat's milk for a while. It contains slightly less lactose, which isn't significant in terms of lactose intolerance, but some people find it easier to digest because it has a different composition. However, it is more expensive and might not be available in some places.

As most of the sugar in dairy products is lactose, you can see how much lactose a dairy product contains by looking at the “Carbohydrate, of which sugars” section in the nutritional information table, as long as the ingredients list doesn't mention any added sugars.

Hope this helps!

Muchas gracias por tu aporte. Me ha ayudado un montón!

Good evening, everyone!

And another two full weeks. I was on my way back from the gym when I heard about a giant snake coiled around a lighthouse. Fearing it might be you-know-who, I decided to head there as fast as I could.

I was relieved to see that it was just a regular, run-of-the-mill giant sea snake.

I saw other adventurers trying to deal with it, but I took the time to observe and come up with a theory about what’s keeping the creature tied to that lighthouse. Watching the way it moved, I couldn’t help but think of a big bear scratching its back against a tree, and that’s when I think I came up with a theory:

The serpent has barnacles embedded in its scales! It’s trying to scratch itself and get rid of them! So I set about punching them off myself.

I hope my theory is correct. If the serpent doesn’t come down from the lighthouse after I remove all the barnacles, I’ll have to try something else. I just hope the creature is okay.

By the way, I'm already taking creatine. First week! Just three more to go before I start feeling the supposed effects. Awoohoo!

And that’s it for today’s report. See you next week, hive!

Good evening, everyone!

And here goes another week.

I’m increasing the weights for my workouts again, just like I did before summer. I don’t know if it’s the cooler weather that’s making me feel less muscle fatigue or if the creatine is finally kicking in.

However, of all the things I expected to find upon returning to the gym, the last thing I expected was to encounter an invasion of geese and see the rest of the adventurers flapping their wings in a curious display of dominance. Obviously, I’ve joined in too!

On another note, I’ve checked out the whole club feature and the new overall design of the Darebee forums. Hats off to you. The truth is, if this project was already really cool, it’s getting even better.
However, I can’t seem to find the button to edit the title of this thread right now. I hope I don’t get stuck on Chapter 3 forever!

And that’s it for today’s report. See you next week, hive!
