Homepage Banners Now Run On Your Time - Midnight Is Midnight, Wherever You Are
The Exercise of the Day and Workout of the Day banners on the homepage now change at midnight in your own time zone.
Until today they switched at 04:45 Athens time for everyone on the planet. That was our best guess at a moment that wouldn't land in the middle of anyone's workout and with people training on every continent it was never quite right for anyone. Evening in the Americas, mid-morning in Asia, and in New Zealand the "new" exercise showed up carrying yesterday's date. We've been tinkering with that number for years.
Now the page simply reads the time from your browser. When your day starts, your new exercise and workout are there. No settings, no picking a zone, nothing to remember.
If you'd rather stick with the old site time (some of you have routines built around it) there's a "Use site time" button in the dashboard settings.
If anything looks off, like a banner that seems a day out or a workout that changed at an odd hour, we'd love to hear about it. Tell us which country you're in too, it helps.
