How's the Weather?

So I was mentioning on Laura Rainbow Dragon's check in thread that we're getting cold this coming week. The polar vortex is shifting and most of Canada will be affected. The shocked reactions made me think it might be fun to have a spot to complain or brag about the local weather. Especially seeing as it can have an effect on where and how we exercize.

So... here's what Southern Ontario is facing for the next few days, quite the swing, and this doesn't include windchill, which is currently forecast to be as low as -30C. We're definitely getting outside with the kids tomorrow while it's nice.

Wow, that looks damn cold. Is this a common temperature at your place for the current time of year or completely way off ?

We usually dip this low once or twice a winter.

Winter in this State of Venezuela works like this: extreme heat during the day, extreme cold during the night. Then again, compared -21ºC, our cold feels like summer because it never goes below zero here. Perhaps in Cubiro as there was one time that I remember it went below zero, but it never got near to -5ºC.
