My wife and I would make veg juice for over a decade and went on to buy a 3rd juicer, the 1st was too small and the second the motor burnt out. Then we stopped because the blade screen was grotty and clogged, it wouldn't scrub clean, we used a blender but not the same thing.

I was telling my friend about the Joe Cross video then later at home only had carrots and cucumber and made juice. After I gave the blade screen an over night soak in bleach and water, wow! the next day it was like brand new and shiny. I guess I'll be buying some veg to blend today.

In the pulp bin I have a mesh bag made for veg and fruit shopping instead of poly bags, it's much stronger than a nut bag and also lets some fine pulp through when you squeeze more juice out of it in a basin. Empty basin then add water over the bag and get it soaked a bit (not too much water) and squeeze again, a good hand exercise. Today bought veggies to juice, carrots, beets and green apple. We used to always add celery but maybe next time.

Watch this short video trailer . . .

Also with the juice I put in a small blender and add such like lettuce or other greens and smoothie type ingredients.

Today's smoothie, 1 cup of juice, teaspoon ground chia, flax, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, romaine lettuce leaf, tablespoon walnuts and cashews, table spoon Greek yogurt, teaspoon honey, 1/2 cup blueberries. This is what I do mainly with the juice I make.

I also liked the documentary "May I Be Frank"
