Putting It All Together

OK. This site is overwhelming -- and that's a good thing. So, I put together a plan for myself (pretty much a couch potato type) to get into shape. Morning: Ultimate Morning Stretching and Better Balance. Daily: Prehab, 60-Day Walking, Prime Time or Tendon Strength. Evening: Planks, Before Bed Reset. That sounds like a lot to me. I may not do Prime Time every day.

I'm 79 years old. I can do all these but physically, but I wonder if the mix is good and will it actually work to help me build balance, cardio and strength. I may add some cycling instead of walking on some days as soon as the weather cooperates. Help is always appreciated.

Okay, firstly well done for making the decision and getting to this point!

I don't really know if the mix is good and will work for what you want though it sounds good to me. I'm not really an expert, just sharing some thoughts and ideas from what I've read and what I know from my fitness journey.

For not knowing if it's too much or not, you could always start light with only one or two things per day and add an extra thing after a few weeks and then again a few weeks after that.
Or you could just take what you have and do a gentle trial run of a couple days to see how you feel and if it's suitable for the amount and the difficulty of exercise you want.
Just take it gently and be easy on yourself and listen to what your body says; don't go so hard and so much that you need days to recover after, cause the ideal here is a bit each day rather than a lot every couple days.
