Hello and how are you guys (hopefully you doing ok mentally and physically, and i underlined mentally for a reason 😅

I wanted to ask about forearms, how to get those big veiny forearms without equipments at all? Just bodyweight. Is it even possible or i need equipment? And what exercises would focus on forearms?

I have done Core Strength and it had planks and so on, yes the endurance of my forearms got increased noticeably but not size or vascularity. I also am doing Hero's Journey and Total Abs they have planks too, so i guess planks are for endurance not size or vascularity.

I searched for programs or workouts targeting those muscle groups on the website but nothing, i also know that vascularity is depending on body fat percentage so it will come with time i guess.

Sorry for the long paragraph and thanks in advance for everyone :hheart:

@BurgerHead there are 20 different muscles contained in each forearm. Forearm strength is a biomarker for overall strength and health and we have a workout that can help without any equipment: https://darebee.com/workouts/stapler-workout.html

Vascularity on extremities like arms and legs depends less on body composition and more on the work they re being tasked to do which helps them develop the veins and cappilaries that supply them with oxygen-rich blood and nutrients and take away the byproducts of physical exercise.

I hope this helps.

Thank you :hheart:

I honestly didn't quite understand the vascularity part, you mean the harder the workout the more they appear?

And about the workout...isn't it a bit easy?

@BurgerHead yeah, harder workouts, over time, increase vascularity. A single workout, no matter how hard it is will not do it. It takes persistence. The workout I linked to allows you to repeat it the exercises so you can do them again and again with a 2 min break in between until your forearm muscles feel the burn.

@Damer So i keep doing it till it burns and then keep doing it (give it a costume number of sets that matches me, ensuring to feel burn and then keep going for some more) and do it like twice a day?

I've done movement like this guy with using resistance from my other hand on top . . .
