Hello everybody,
I just discovered this community, joined and wanted to say 'hi'. I really love the spirit of the community driven content and the general simple theme of the pages, PDF, guides and so on. At first I found a little confusing some exercise because I have no experience with gym workouts but I found out that there are some videos so I will check them when in trouble. As said I have no experience with training, I'm quite lazy when it's a matter of burning calories. As you can imagine I went out of shape with the course of the years. Only in the last couple of years I started to break my sedentary attitude thanks to a dog that joined my family. I walk with her (Perla, my dog) between 2 and 3 hour a day and only doing that I lost 8 kg in about 6 month. When I have the opportunity I like to take her on mountain trails and I started to feel the need of going out with the dog (maybe cause I'm too lazy for household chores).
I never loved burning fat but I still love some sports, usually those more relaxed. I love shooting with airgun (it's an Olympic discipline before you say something against it!!), skateboarding (yet another Olympic discipline you know?!) and Freediving (I'm good at relaxing but less at swimming, my personal best is 6 minute static , 75m dynamic and -20m constant weight).
I'm not very constant with my passions, I tend to dive into new things and then get bored after some time and start looking for something new. Time will tell if I will be still there with you trying to get fit. Anyway in the short run I need to loose some weight in order to get better at Freediving (better posture, better shape, more swimming resistance, resistance to cold water). I already train at the pool but I need something more for the upper body and to burn fat. At home I have some dumbbell so I will focus using that and on no equipment workouts.

wish me good luck with this new adventure!
have a 2025 full of joy, success and love!

thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
today I finish my first ever training week. I chose Total Body Strength+ and 60 days of walking. On some days I made the workout of the day but not everyday.
I'm satisfied because I kept the promise I made to myself to train every day. I hope to soon be able to sustain an harder training with more workout on a single day.

Hi and congrats on finishing your first week of training! It always helps to have a plan in place, write it down, as well as setting a time to do it. It sounds like you’re on the right track! :approve:
