There is a big tree in Rondeau that is just covered in burls. Everytime I looked at that tree I would be impressed with its resilience, to have survived so many challenges. I didn't know it would actually produce wood that would be prized. (Though that tree likely will not, as it's in a natural environment class park. When the tree dies it will be left where it is to provide habitat for future generations of forest dwellers.)
