Hero's Journey Review

Hero's Journey is one of our earliest RPG Fitness Programs. We love it because it is deceptively simple even in its moral choice moments but karma is inescapable. Soon enough those moral choices begin to pile up. Not quite on a par with Age of Pandora but definitely there is no escaping consequences.

Great review. Love seeing this site get the attention it deserves. <3

...it can be modified for beginners...

... Huh. I have no idea why I didn't think about doing that. Sounds like a modified Hero's Journey is gonna have to be my next workout then!

Programs are the one area of DAREBEE where we invest considerably in every way because they take such a long time to come together. RPG ones even more so. The moral dilemmas embedded in their structure for instance, require significant planning and refinement. Age of Pandora took a full year to refine and release and, internally, we are still divided over some of its concepts because it's a morally ambiguous world with each decision having real consequences. Carbon and Dust left us all reeling with an ending we didn't see coming. The discussions and suggestions, inevitably, led us to it as the only viable solution. Hero's Journey is one of our earliest and remains a firm favorite. 😀
