Sorry for the delayed reply @dopaw, the week got away from me.
You need a separate ID for the bookmarks' feature, your forum username will not work there, I am afraid. You can create an ID with the same details (username + password), though.
The main website and the community here use two different databases so they are technically two separate websites. We just make them look like one. It's very far from ideal but that's what we are working with for the time being. I hope this makes sense and helps.
