Darebee App

Hey everyone,


I'm currently working on a Darebee Android app (with AI help, since I have almost no clue about coding). It's kind of a fun side project. Basically, it has the same features as the website, but you can use it offline (if you download a program or workout in the app). I'm quite surprised that it actually works!


I'm not sure if there's any need for this kind of app in the community, or if I'm even allowed to release it, since it's not officially made by the Darebee team.


So I'm asking: does anyone know more about this? And are there people who think this app would be useful or wanted?

Thank you for your enthusiasm and interest in Darebee's resources. We truly appreciate when members of the community are inspired by our work.

However, we must kindly but clearly clarify that all Darebee content—including workouts, programs, and related materials—is protected by copyright and intellectual property rights. This means that reproducing or redistributing any part of Darebee, even through a third-party app, without explicit permission from the Darebee team, constitutes an infringement of those rights.

While we understand your intentions may be well-meaning and your project was created as a fun learning exercise, we cannot authorize or support the release or distribution of unofficial apps that duplicate Darebee content or functionality.

I thought so – that's why I wrote an email a few weeks ago to ask for that permission. Is there any way to get that permission? Or is the Darebee team interested in releasing the app themselves?


And if not, is it okay if I just use the app for myself?

@M4x in our Terms and Conditions we very specifically explain that we never give permission for our content to be used in anything we don't produce ourselves. We replied to the email you sent us a few weeks back explaining all this and the reply unfortunately bounced from your email server.

Darebee content is freely available for personal use, and you're absolutely welcome to continue using it privately, as intended. However, we can’t grant permission for others to use or republish Darebee content in apps, commercial products, or other redistributions—whether for free or paid—because it would go against the principles and protections that keep the project sustainable and fair to all.

We hope you’ll continue enjoying the resources and using them to stay strong and healthy. Thanks again for being part of the Darebee community!
