Happy 2025!

We're usually a little quicker with the New Year message and, it is always one of hope. This year we took a little time to put it up. The fact that you're here is in itself a positive, hopeful fact. You're being intentional and proactive so there it is not all that useful to reiterate it. Instead we shall focus on what is and what can be. We live in historic times. Things are changing everywhere and, unfortunately, this change creates uncertainty that fuels anxiety. Normal as this may be, it is also hard to live through. Things that used to be simple now appear to be harder to do. Just getting through the day can feel exhausting. And every time we try to contemplate the future at length we either end up getting depressed because it seems bleak or give up because it appears impossible to predict anything with any kind of certainty any more.

Certainly this is going to be a tough year. And the next two-three years are also going to be challenging but none of that is anything more for most of us than a perception. Because perception creates our reality however navigating this tough time requires a fresh approach: Make yourself the priority. Treat your life (and health) like it's your primary project. Protect your energy. Create space to hear yourself think. Treat yourself first with kindness and then extend that kindness to all others. Remember that everything is a journey and the journey is an adventure. Have as much fun as you can with what you do. That will make the year ahead a lot more enjoyable.

And, as always, we've got you!

Hi @Damer & the hive.

My journey through the hive continues (even with some complications that in this new year try or will try to frustrate all my work done, whether by myself or by third parties). Getting to spend 2 years in a row without stopping training (even more so, fulfilling the challenges to the letter) is something that day after day cannot be left for tomorrow.
Whether we have any other obligation (everyday ones), a small margin of time to train cannot be denied, whether in a small room like the bedroom.
For those of you who are starting this journey, and those of us who restart everything we previously did, it is never too late to recover. 2025 like any other year (since I found out about this website) is like every book starting with the prologue page and wanting to get to the last page.
Don't give up on the goal of making sport another part to include in your agendas.

Let's go for the first month of this 2025.
For those of us who have completed the annual challenge, we are going for the last step of the podium (the 2 years).

Once again, happy year (to the entire hive) of new and healthy training and challenges.

P.S. From time to time, my level 4 exercises. I will take you out of the drawer, to return to... "you know what (for everything I have achieved and still need to achieve)".

Happy New Year, everyone!

I'm away from the hive and Darebee a lot of time, but always get drawn back to here. I can't explain how much of a gift to the world this website and this community are.

Even if I lack consistency, whenever I actually get enough will to exercise, I come back and try things from here.

May this year be a good one for everyone!
