Things are going pretty well at this time. I am eating fish and beans/legumes regularly every week. I am doing better with vegetables and water, although there is still vast room for improvement. I am also eating citrus and/or some berries most days.

Emotionally, things are okay too. I feel as though i am more aware of my emotions and how they tie in with my eating habits and thoughts. I have definitely had thoughts of bingeing or other out of control behaviours (though not on a daily basis anymore!), but so far i have been able to use self-talk and/or distraction to cope with these. Maybe all those years of my daughter's CBT are finally rubbing off.

I forgot to do my weekly weigh-in on Wednesday, and then the day completely derailed:
I have been in a funk the past few days, and it culminated in a day of emotional eating. I managed to keep it at bay throughout the morning and into midday, but as the afternoon wore on i felt more and more defeated, and by evening i succumbed and was eating my feelings, and eating them, and eating them. . . first full-on binge in over two months.
Today, it is back to nutrition basics: water, regular meals, protein, and veggies.
I am also going to do some thinking and journaling (pen & paper) about what triggered this and try to come up with some healthier coping ideas.

Belated thanks for the kind comments, @graoumia and @Mr.Javo!:sendinglove:

Are you still fasting ? What is your secret ?
Yes, i am still fasting, usually 14 or 15 hours. Although, i have been struggling with the night snacking creeping back in over the past month. Still i have more successful days than not, and since it is my desire to be realistic and make long term changes, i try to focus on the wins. Honestly, i think my "secret" is just that my eating was so very terrible before, and i have so much weight to lose, that every little change is working for me right now. I am using Cronometer to track what i eat, and i do try to stay within their calorie recommendations. As a recovering binge eater, I am trying to teach myself what a normal/healthy amount of calories feels like. Thank you again for your continued support and encouragement; it truly helps!:sendlove:

I am so happy of your efforts and that i work fine, binge eating is really hard and i think we will always have this trend to wish eating more and especially when something is wrong, or on my side when i feel lonely. Keep on your good work I believe in you

I also use Cronometer, I love that app since forever!
I like that it's an app but also a web interface.
