RPG Programs Got a Makeover - Some Assembly Still Required
We've been redesigning our RPG programs to make them easier to read, tidying up the code behind them and generally sweeping the corners. It's not finished yet but you can already see the difference on The Labyrinth, Zero Hero and House of the Valkyrie.
Carbon & Dust got a bigger treatment. It has been rewritten so it reads more like a book than a workout page with a plot attached. We're still working on it and the timers haven't landed yet so if you go looking for them you'll find a gap where a timer should be. Consider it a plot hole we plan to fix.
Why now? RPG programs are a different beast from our usual programs. They carry extra story, extra features and extra everything and squeezing all of it onto one card was always a stretch. The new format gives us room to do more with them and it behaves much better on phones. There are also two more RPG programs in the works so we wanted the new standard in place before they arrive rather than after.
If you have a moment we'd love to know what you think and how it all looks on your end. Different screens surprise us more often than we'd like to admit.
