Starting Fresh

When I first started out I weighed ~210 pounds/95.3 kilos. Today at the doctor's I weighed in at 197 pounds/89.4 kilos! I know I need to get back on it with the healthier food after this week (I tried to choose healthy 'eating out' snacks like pita chips, but in general I would estimate that I ate more fat, about the same nonveggie carbs, slightly less protein, and WAY less fruits and vegetables during the heat wave, which likely resulted in more calories. I got some bbq as a treat today because I was out of food in the house, but I'm working up the motivation now to go to target and get a cooking tray. I need to buy more yogurt and some kind of lean protein, because I have a butt-ton of quinoa and some beans but no meat.

Update: I was gonna go back out, but I'm exhausted. My sleep was disrupted this week (was sleeping in min. 80F/27C) and waking up a lot in the middle of the night needing to cool down. Since I did walk for an hour, I decided 8k steps is gonna be enough for today and tomorrow I'll try to get 12k. I bought myself project zomboid since it's on sale and I'm drinking my non-alcoholic hoppy teas :)

Just finished classic abs. I did have to take a couple breaks but was mostly able to keep moving. For the first set, I think I did em wrong- when I watched the video I saw she was sorta swinging herself up, which made them considerably easier to do from a strength perspective but way harder cardio! Was interesting at least.

Edit: Also today I got some healthy food and a frickin cooking tray, so I can cook some chicken tomorrow or wednesday.

Just finished HIIT frontier workout on level 1. The hiit workouts with core in them always kick my ass, but this was a really good one for building core strength because the cardio is kept separate from the strength slightly, making it easier to complete. Highly recommend for anyone out there who, like me, has a really weak core to the point that it makes other workouts that use core indirectly somewhat harder.

Edit: I also got my chicken cooked and ate my veggies today! Soy sauce makes it easier for me. Really grateful I don't have to limit my salt intake lol
