So I've been on a bit of a kick lately, I've asked all my trainer friends and fitness savvy people in my life this question so I'll ask it here too...
How would you go about programming a workout routine to emulate Tarzan?
Think about it for a moment...he's aesthetically flawless with big muscles all over and is cut as hell but he's also incredibly functional athletically speaking. He can traverse on all fours, run at great speeds, climb ropes and trees and cliffs with ease, mimic the movements of various animals, is an adept swimmer, a great hand to hand combatant, is incredibly agile and flexible, has sharp senses and reflexes, dextrous as hell, can leap great distances, and is strong enough to put a Silverback Gorilla into a chokehold and make him tap.
I know Darebee released a Tarzan workout some years back, and while it's a great inclusion I don't think it would cover it entirely.
So I ask your opinion...how would you guys go about it? What exercises would you include, what modalities, the set and rep schemes, etc
