I don't stack my feet but have one behind the other, also a variation I do is bend top leg at the knee and place foot flat on the floor in front.

30 calf raises . . .
Well I did do 3 sets of 30 yesterday on the smith machine bar 65 lbs 3X30, today squats with 135lbs X2, 145lb , 155lbs, 165lbs ,each 6 reps and calves between each set of 15 reps. Smith machine really aids balance when doing calves.
