Anyone willing to carry on The Squat Patrol in this new environment?

Hello! Welcome to The Squat Patrol. A companion group to The Pushers, but over here, we squat, please join!

Rules
• Squats are done, by each and everyone, in total for the week.
• You could do a certain number of squats per day or all in one go-- it's up to you!
• All types/ variants of squats are accepted (lost for ideas? here's a few), as long as you stay true to the weekly reps.

Currently, I am at Week 35 completed including 657 close squats, 30 single-leg squats, 224 one-leg squats with a 3Kg dumbell

Appreciate to have some bees joining in to have some fun together

Hey, this is great! I'd suggest an edit to your links since the first one is broken and the second one redirects directly to DAREBEE'S youtube channel. Maybe using this link instead would be a better choice: Exercise modifications (note: the 4th paragraph focuses on squats).
In addition, I'd like to join in this one 😃 so, it's Sunday, week 1 for me, which means, I still have about 3 and half of hours to complete this task. 😁 I'll be back with a post to confirm it's done.

Thanks for spotting the broken links. Actually, I copied/pasted the first post of the previous challenge in 2020.
Welcome on board and no hurry, I take more than 1 week to complete each one.

This is a great excuse to do my favourite exercise! I assume these squats are meant to be done independent of squats included in regular workouts?

Week 1 done & it was fun! :welcome:
  • 12 goblet squats
  • 12 squat step backs
  • 12 sumo squat hold (10 punches per hold)
  • 12 regular squats
  • 12 single-leg squats
  • 12 squat to bent-over kettlebell row
  • 12 squat to front kick
I used a 12 lb kettlebell for the weight.

I have not forgot this challenge. :)
I'm currently at mid of week 36. I take longer to complete each week because almost half reps are 1 Leg weighted (5 Kg) squats, and I can't do many every day.
Usually, every day I do 20 close squats and 12-18 1 Leg weighted squats.

Week #5
196 (combo of regular, wide and pulse) squats done.
I was a bit late with this one, should have done the squats earlier during the week, but some plans came up and we were on a mini- trip yesterday...

Week 36 completed including 482 close squats, 20 single-leg squats, 108 one-leg squats, 144 one-leg squats with a 3Kg dumbell and 216 with a 5Kg one.

Week #6
100 squats (combo regular, wide and pulse) so far.

Edit: this one takes a bit more. Last week was crazy with having our son's 2nd b-day and organizing his baptism and on top of that he got sick (and it seems he infected me as well)... I'll start over this 6th week from this week and hopefully I'll finish it this time until the end of this week.

I have not forgotten about this challenge. Unfortunately, I’ve reactivated a knee injury, which means remembering to spend time on rehab.

Finally! I managed to complete week #6 this week! 😁 224 combo of regular, wide and pulse squats done.

I finished Week 37, including 566 close squats, 146 one-leg squats, 180 one-leg squats with a 8 Kg dumbell and 162 with a 13 Kg one.

I'm late too because I just recovered from a flu :(
However, I finished Week 38 including 584 close squats, 124 one-leg squats and 252 one-leg squats holding a 13 Kg dumbell

Week 39 completed, including 524 close squats, 100 one-leg squats, and 282 one-leg squats with a 13 Kg weight
