What's New at DAREBEE - the Pie Badger Edition

A lot happened since Monday. Some of it was planned. Some of it happened because you asked for it on Wednesday and we couldn't sleep until it was done. Here is the full list.

Programs now come with how-to videos

This is the big one and it is still rolling out. On program pages you can now tap an exercise right on the day's page and a short video shows you how it is done. No more opening a new tab to check what a "reverse snow angel" is. We have started adding them program by program, so if your program doesn't have them yet it is on the way.

The Guild

• Bounties are live. Every Wednesday at 2026-10-28 10:00 (Athens time) the Clerk pins a WANTED poster in Bounties. One hunter, one culprit, three parts to the job and 48 hours to bring them in. Every part has an at-home alternative and finishing earns 1 Guild Point. Claimed posters collect on the Bounty Wall on your Guild Record. The first one was Old Marrow, the Pie Badger, and he did not go quietly. Thanks to your feedback mid-hunt you can now log your reps bit by bit instead of all at once and the board tells you where you stand.
• All reps count again. The "only extra reps" rule lasted exactly one week before you talked us out of it. Everything you do now counts in quests, events and bounties. If some of those reps were already part of a workout you logged on your dashboard, tick "Already in a workout I logged today" in the log box and your dashboard won't count them twice. Everyone wins, nobody double-dips.

Forum

• Posting errors fixed. If the forum refused your post on Tuesday for no good reason, that was our server being overprotective. It has been told to calm down.
• Club badges now show on profiles for check-ins and Walking Club postcards (first tier is up, the higher tiers are coming) and milestone badges land on everyone who was in the roll call when the club hit the number.
• The community intro page on darebee.com has been rewritten from scratch so it covers everything the Hive does now: clubs, the Guild, logs, gifts, the lot. If you have ever tried to explain this place to a friend, that page can do it for you.

• The donate page got a makeover. Google Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal right on the page, Donorbox and Wise for everyone else, 23 currencies, a bigger box for the "Other" amount and a tick box to cover the processing fees if you feel like it. Nothing is preselected and nothing nags. Have a look even if you're not donating, we're a little proud of it.
• The thank-you page now has a different ribbon kitten every time and the donation banner stays away for 30 days after you land there, because thanking you and then asking again in the same breath felt rude.
• Lost your dashboard data? There is now a page for that: darebee.com/check.html. It scans your browser, works out what most likely happened and tells you how to get your progress back or stop it happening again. The empty dashboard links to it and there is an optional backup reminder in Settings.
• Dashboard: clearer "New device? Bring your dashboard here" steps for linked members, and if the dashboard ever fails to load mid-update it now says so instead of spinning forever. Your progress is safe either way.
