Yesterday, I finished recovering from my illness... No physical activity... Just went to the store to get a log splitting tool and an axe sharpener. Funny story: I wanted to get a new axe, too, but my husband insisted we didn't need one. I kept repeating loudly in an OCD manner that I couldn't seem to control, "We need a new axe. Ours is going to break," over and over again like a possessed doll. Well, when we got home, our axe broke. Same for the matches. I kept going around the store saying, "We need matches. Our lighters aren't going to last." Sure enough, this morning, my son says, "Where are the lighters," and we're down to the last one. When we discovered our predicament with the axe, I turned to my husband and said, "What are your thoughts?" He answered, "I think you were divinely inspired." So, for once, I don't feel embarrassed that I had a total "Rain Man" episode in a public place! BAHAHAHA! Afterwards, we bought some groceries, including tons of ramen for lazy day cooking... (Also, so I can store small kindling for my fireplace in the cardboard packaging.) My kids and I both agree it's a win/win!
Breakfast: Clementine, chocolate dipped bananas, two pieces of cheese
Snack: Moose tracks ice cream with caramel pecan cookies (Oddly, I hate caramel, but I really loved it yesterday)
Dinner: 2 chicken bacon ranch wraps with lettuce, blackberry soda water
