No pain, no gain = True, you will gain something — a strong association between discomfort/anguish with physical exercise and self-care. This is the dominion of self-will, self-mastery, self-domination. Enslaving yourself works for awhile, lots of false promises do. Is it any wonder people can't keep it up? And then they wonder what's wrong with THEM?
Try movements daily = Refer to the fundamental movements of calisthenics for a guide, or invent some movements yourself. Don't hurt yourself. Exercise is medicine for your body; dosage is key, otherwise you make yourself sick. Think about exercise like you're wandering around your own palace, interesting doors everywhere. What doors can you open today? Door won't open? Oh well, maybe it'll open another day. The thing is, that door will open eventually. Because you'll keep trying it. Because you'll actually want to show up to this palace. You won't ever be asking what's wrong with me? You'll be asking what's behind door #344?
