Coming back to the land of the living!

I just joined today. I am new to all of this. I used to workout over an hour a day 5 days a week but then I got Covid, then Covid Long Haul and it took me all the way down. (4 years ago) I haven't been able to exercise for the last four years, per doctor's orders. But I say enough is enough - at some point I have to get back to life! I am trying so hard to return to a healthy life and I don't know how to get started anymore. It seems like any cardio has me taking a nap a few hours later. Now I am going to try strength training and see if I can do that. I am so glad to hve found this website and community. Any suggestions on how to get started?

These are the basic programs to start training with the Darebee method but anything that inspires you and leads you to start training even slowly is fine :)
Programs are generally a good choice because they are already well-structured and progressive workouts, you go straight to the point, they work and you don't have to think about anything but just follow them and yes, you don't even have to train every day, it will just take you a little longer to finish them.
and welcome :)

I want to thank you so much for the suggestions. I am finding I need to take REALLY REALLY slow but I am doing it. So again Thank You! I just discovered Darebee actually has a page on how to recover from Covid. Yay!!
