This is my first of who knows how many progress updates. Feel free to ignore, I'm mostly just using this forum and keeping it updated as a form of external motivation as well as a way to organise my thoughts
I am currently recovering from a cold so I've kept today pretty light, got my 10000 steps for the day and I have also done day 1 of the easy abs challenge, and then finished that workout by holding a plank as long as I can, which I think I'll strive to do every day and track my progress going forward today was only 45 seconds but I am curious to see how much that has improved by the end of the 30 day challenge. I am focusing on my abs at the moment because I have bulging discs in my lower back and have been told that stronger abs and lower back muscles (as well as just generally shedding some weight) can help to reduce the pain and symptoms from that.
So yeah, a pretty low impact day, but hopefully I will be feeling better when I wake up tomorrow and I can get back to more intense exercise
