DaySteps & more
Wednesday, August 195,778 - Last minute project work and errand running
Thursday, August 20 🍰 10,344 - Packing, 5+hours in the car, and then running around getting camp set up
Friday, August 2113,592 - Archery, so a long walk to the range, 2 hours of shooting plus helping Dad spot his shots in a tournament, then a long walk back. Bad thing, I forgot sunscreen, so my left forearm and a little bit of my chest got a little roasted. My hat worked great, tho.
Saturday, August 227,947 - Lower energy day, but still got some walking in. I got to hang with a lot of people I haven't seen in a while. Since my chest burn was a little more extensive than I had originally thought, my quiet day at camp in the shade socializing really paid off.
Sunday, August 235,586 - Broke camp and helped others to break camp, and then spent 5+ hours driving home. Exhausted from not sleeping very well, though I did a stellar job of hydrating over the camping trip.
Monday, August 243,367 - Recovering from the higher altitude and not feeling that great. Still not sleeping well due to sunburn. Bad mood day.
Tuesday, August 254,678 - Still sleeping terribly. But, I'm still here and still trying to move. Got some of the car unpacked today. Mood was better and I was more productive. Hydrating was hard today.
Wednesday, August 263,333 - Due to even more bad sleep, I was so low energy today that it wasn't even funny. But I did spend an hour with my standing desk in the standing position, which is better than I have been doing since I've been working from home.

So yeah, I went camping. I had a great time, but I will never, ever again forget my sunscreen or to ask others if I can have some of theirs. Sunburn is now peeling, so that is just great. It is still affecting my sleep - hence why I'm here posting at 1am. :persevering: I wish we had our new couch so that I could sleep in a little bit of a more upright position to aleviate the discomfort. We still waiting from buying it in May - new update is that it'll be here in late September.

Okay, goal tomorrow (today) - actually do something movement wise. Literally anything.

I didn't really want a rest day, but that's what happened. However, I got closer to my water goal today than I have in since Monday. So, I'll take that win. I did lose most of the morning to trying to sleep in (Orion said no, very insistently and loudly) and the afternoon to playing video games. Probably not my best choices, but I have been thinking about how to integrate more movement while playing video games again. Just not sure what would be best. I've been getting into the lego games again, so I've been thinking about things to do when I complete a level, get a gold brick, and maybe something special for the red bricks? I'll muse on this some more.

Okay, time to get some sleep.

Edit: So, I ended up doing some march steps and squats while I brushed my teeth. I need to do more squats. Yup.

Okay, it was an actual rest day today. Because I had a bad headache. I'm not sure it truly reached migraine status, but it was persistent all day long. I drank my gallon of water and I just rested. This does mean I didn't go to my nephews' birthday party, so I do feel bad about that. I think I brought it on with all my bad sleep + water intake issues (though I've been better the past two days and I wasn't too terribly short of the water goal all week).

Tomorrow, I'll have to hit the chores. It looks like we might be getting back into the office. Well, M will. I'm going to have to have a talk with my lead about the questionably toxic glue that they are going to be starting to use across the hallway, now that they are done with my office. We do share air with them and I can't be dealing with migraines and nausea all day. Anyway, I'm going to add small movements in conjunction with laundry moving, because it is a fixed, repeatable occurrence. Because small movements add up. And I need to remember that. I should really try to get some yoga in or something.

On the baby front, I actually started to put together the list of things we need. Right now, it's all going into the private registry so that it is all in one place and I can sort out the stuff that we will be buying vs. leaving for others to contribute. So yay, I was even somewhat productive today.
