Search by Muscle Group

I really like the little guy at the bottom of the workouts who is shaded according to which muscle groups are most active in the workout - but what would be really cool is if we could click on those images and be recommended other workouts that focus on those same muscles - alternatively a tagging system so we could search like "traps" or "glutes" etc

I'm learning that I have weak traps and that may be causing my back pain and posture problems, so I wanted to work on those but it's difficult to search for that at the moment

Workout recommendations welcome in the meantime

It's not a perfect fit, but a lot of back-focused workouts have the word "back" in their title.
So this search: https://darebee.com/workout.html#q=back works pretty well.

I also like these resources:

Bodyweight Exercises Chart
What Muscles Do and How to Train Them

Both provide specific exercises that are good for training specific muscle groups. No workout recommendations directly. But if you know the sorts of exercises you're looking for, you can do a general search with the Workouts filter--something like: Upper Body Strength Workouts--and then scroll through the previews to pick out some that feature the exercises you want.

Yeah, I've been searching like that but it could do with that little bit more specificity sometimes

Thanks for those links tho, I hadn't seen those and they're pretty insightful

I'm finding that (as the drawings on those bodyweight exercises illustrate!) a lot of exercises for that tend to assume that you're a body builder already - and those kind of exercises are usually intended to induce muscle fatigue to build strength long term - but it's a tricky area because that's what supports the the head neck and shoulders, so when that area is already weak enough to cause posture and pain issues, working those muscles to fatigue really sucks!
It might have to be something I have to deal with tho because that's now muscles get stronger ig - def gotta try smaller weights next time tho

Shoulder opener is a great option if you are looking for something more on the mobility side. If you want a strength-oriented workout where you can progressively increase the weight, Back builder is quite good. If you prefer bodyweight exercises, go for Fallback or Daybreak. And, for something right between mobility and strenght, I think Standing back is a great choice.

Hope this helps!
