Well it's been a while since I have posted on this log, but I have been here on the Darebee site with the exception of the last 3 weeks (around the Christmas season on).

I did complete the Ironheart Program and the 50 Push-ups In One Go Challenge.

I was still active up until Christmas, but took some time away over the Christmas season. I really had good intentions to get back into a routine and stick with it on January 1st, but unfortunately got hit with Covid.😱
The most that I did for the last couple of weeks was rest and take my furry friend out for a couple of walks each day.

I am doing a restart with consistently working out AGAIN:sad: I hit a block towards the end of the week last week and decided to start fresh this week. A part of making this decision is that I will be picking up the 1/2 Marathon Training Program next week to prepare for the Half Marathon that I will be doing on April 30.

I haven't been consistently working out this past month - during the work week I have been doing well, but weekends not so much. With the Half Marathon program, I have been trying to make sure I at least get the runs in until I do the Half Marathon at the end of April. I won't be claiming the badge at the end though since I didn't fully complete it. My plans will be to do it again for my second Half Marathon in September.

April 1 to 3, 2023

Half Marathon Program- day 55 and 57 completed. I substituted a 45 Stationary bike workout for the long run on day 56 (April 2) ...winter decided that it didn't want to leave yet. :snowball: I didn't want to drive in to town to use the treadmill, but still wanted to burn some energy.

I have been exercising on and off over the last few months- but have been trying to become more consistent again.

As of yesterday, I have made it to an 8 day streak, which included doing a 21.1K race. It was definitely my worst race time, and a big part of it was not training properly :sad: I was happy though that I crossed the finish line.

:worried: congrats on 9 day streak! And also on running 21,1km even though you're not happy with your time... I think it is in itself no small feat. :gogogo:
But I do understand how frustrating it is to not perform as well as before so :hug:
