The workout, part 1
One minute Elbow Plank
Easy Abs, Day 27: Three sets of 22 Air Bike Crunches and 6 Sitting Twists with no rest

The workout, part 2
One minute Elbow Plank
Easy Abs, Day 28: 90 Air Bike Crunches (throughout the day, technically, but not actually)

Yeah, other than the Posture Challenge and... something... I have no idea what tomorrow's workout looks like. Maybe I'll test the cardio waters again. It has been a while. Tonight, however:

The workout
One minute Elbow Plank
Easy Abs, Day 30: 100 Air Bike Crunches (throughout the day, technically, but not actually)

The workout
One minute Elbow Plank
Posture Challenge, Day 2: Three sets of 20 Chest Expansions (throughout the day, technically, but not actually)
Fifteen minutes Steady State Cardio. I'm not sure how I want to proceed, so for now, I continue with something that worked.

I really need to figure out something besides the Steady State Cardio. I'll probably do The Pits on Sundays, but I really should do something else in addition.

The workout
One minute Elbow Plank
Posture Challenge, Day 3: 12 Side Bends, morning and evening
Fifteen minutes Steady State Cardio.

I need to find and print more arms/upper body workouts. I may get dumbbells soon, which will help. I think. As long as I actually do the work from the first sentence.

The workout
One minute Elbow Plank
Posture Challenge, Day 10: Three sets of 28 Chest Expansions (throughout the day, technically, but not actually)
Tempered Steel at level 3 with one minute rests

Smoke from fires in northern Minnesota have migrated here during the day today. It smells like a wood-burning stove outside now and looks like said stove has been left open in the room.

The workout
One minute Elbow Plank
Posture Challenge, Day 13: 24 Side Bends, morning and evening
Fifteen minutes Steady State Cardio

I meant to do two workouts on Thursday, but... well, let's just say mistakes were made and I realized far too late that it should have been done in that manner. I expect to catch up my workouts tomorrow. We'll see if I actually remember to.

The workout
One minute Elbow Plank
Posture Challenge, Day 17: 26 Side Bends, morning and evening
Fifteen minutes Steady State Cardio

The workout, part 1
One minute Elbow Plank
Posture Challenge, Day 18: Three sets of 36 Chest Expansions (throughout the day, technically, but not actually)
Biceps & Triceps Light

The workout, part 2
One minute Elbow Plank
Posture Challenge, Day 19: 28 Side Bends, morning and evening
Ten minutes in the Pits, unarmed

I'm taking a short trip at the end of next month. I think that when I return, I'll increase from fifteen minutes to twenty for cardio days.

The workout
One minute Elbow Plank
Posture Challenge, Day 21: 30 Side Bends, morning and evening
Fifteen minutes Steady State Cardio

I looked at dumbbells today. They are rather expensive, which is not useful. Maybe one day.

The workout
One minute Elbow Plank
Posture Challenge, Day 22: Three sets of 40 Chest Expansions (throughout the day, technically, but not actually)
Tempered Steel at level 3

The workout
One minute Elbow Plank
Posture Challenge, Day 23: 32 Side Bends, morning and evening
Lower Back with one minute rests. For some reason, my feet no longer have the flexibility to handle the bottom-to-heels stretch. This particular exercise was rather painful due to that.

Whatever damage I did to my leg earlier this year has shown up again. This is very frustrating, because it came about for no good reason and now causes me pain when doing things I once did without any issue whatsoever.

One minute Elbow Plank
Posture Challenge, Day 26: Three sets of 44 Chest Expansions (throughout the day, technically, but not actually)
Ten minutes in the Pits

I think August is going to involve a bit of a change-up. Either of Upper Body & Core or Lower Body & Core for the challenge means I'll be doing a bunch of planking anyway. So instead of the one minute Elbow Plank that has been a daily workout, it is likely that I'll add some kind of back exercise instead, or possibly a rotation of back exercises. Who knows? Not this guy.*

*Yet.

I missed an extra skip in count twice. Because I forgot there were days that count jumped by four instead of two. Additionally, I added another new workout to arms day for the unpredictability.

The workout
One minute Elbow Plank
Posture Challenge, Day 28: Three sets of 52 Chest Expansions (throughout the day, technically, but not actually)
Upper Body at level 1, two Knee Push-Ups each time. It's been a bit since I last did Push-Ups, no sense hurting myself jumping back into them. Could I have done levels two or three? Maybe, but as a first run, I feel alright having not pushed too hard on it.

I came into a small windfall that allowed me to pick up the dumbbells I was looking at last week. So I have dumbbells, now to find some workouts.

The workout
One minute Elbow Plank
Posture Challenge, Day 29: 44 Side Bends, morning and evening. See last night's comments for the vast change in side bends per set.
Posture. I elected to do something particularly easy tonight after an unusual new workout last night and having done some testing with my new dumbbells. Also, I still need more work on my posture, so it makes sense.

The plan for August, at least until I go on my trip at the end of the month, will be using my new dumbbells for back work. I'll have to adjust a bit as I learn what's comfortable versus what's too much, but it's a start to working out with the non-weapon equipment at home.

One minute Elbow Plank
Posture Challenge, Day 30: Three sets of 54 Chest Expansions (throughout the day, technically, but not actually)
Fifteen minutes Steady State Cardio

I had an unexpected evening diversion from which I returned home late. So, two workouts, I guess.

The workout, part 1
10 Shrugs with 25 pound* dumbbells
Lower Body & Core, Day 1: Three sets 8 Slow Climbers and 10-count Plank Hold with thirty seconds rest
Lower Back

The workout, part 2
10 Bent Over Rows with 25 pound* dumbbells
Lower Body & Core, Day 1: One minute Full Plank
Ten minutes in the Pits, unarmed

*Approximately 11 and 4/11** kg, for those who are metric-inclined, assuming the approximation 2.2 pounds per kilogram.
**The humor*** of a fraction in a metric scalar is darkly enjoyable to this scientist.
***Or humour, if you wish.

The workout
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells. I started this as a test of what I can do... it's sort of become another thing I just do.
14 Shrugs with 25 pound dumbbells
Lower Body & Core, Day 5: Three sets 8 Slow Climbers and 10-count Plank Hold with thirty seconds rest
Fifteen minutes Steady State Cardio

I'm picking up some workouts for later this month early, for once. I have two days to cover for sure and I'd rather be caught up than caught unaware late in the month. Also, I'm still trying to recreate the magic that occurred while I lived in San Antonio, in which I lost a ton of weight and managed to keep it off for several years until a confluence of factors finally caused me to gain weight in such a way that I didn't realize it was happening until far too late.

The workout, part 1
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells
14 Bent Over Rows with 25 pound dumbbells
Lower Body & Core, Day 6: One minute Full Plank
Upper Body at level 1, with 3 Knee Push-Ups. Yes, Knee Push-Ups again. That said, this was just right on the discomfort scale, so I'll continue with this and push slowly forward to levels 2 and 3 before moving up to a fourth Push-Up of the Knee variety.

The workout, part 2
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells
16 Shrugs with 25 pound dumbbells
Lower Body & Core, Day 7: Three sets 10 Slow Climbers and 10-count Plank Hold with thirty seconds rest
Lower Back with one minute rests
