When I return from my trip later this month, I believe I will add a new dumbbell exercise. What is it? I don't know, but I have time to determine it. While on my trip, I'm going to set aside dumbbell work but bring my other body weight workouts to keep up with it outside my travel days.

The workout
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells
20 Shrugs with 25 pound dumbbells
Lower Body & Core, Day 11: Three sets 12 Slow Climbers and 10-count Plank Hold with thirty seconds rest
Fifteen minutes Steady State Cardio

The workout
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells
20 Bent Over Rows with 25 pound dumbbells
Lower Body & Core, Day 12: One minute Full Plank
Tempered Steel at level 2 with one minute rests. The dumbbell workouts are becoming strenuous enough that this was actually tough to complete. I can feel several of my arm muscles even now.

And with today, I should be caught up on everything for the entire month, assuming I actually find time and remember to work out while on my trip at the end of the month.

The workout, part 1
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells
22 Bent Over Rows with 25 pound dumbbells
Lower Body & Core, Day 14: One minute Full Plank
Fifteen minutes Steady State Cardio

The workout
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells
24 Shrugs with 25 pound dumbbells
Lower Body & Core, Day 15: Three sets 14 Slow Climbers and 10-count Plank Hold with thirty seconds rest
All Systems Red at level 3

The workout*
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells
26 Shrugs with 25 pound dumbbells
Lower Body & Core, Day 17: Three sets 14 Slow Climbers and 10-count Plank Hold with thirty seconds rest
Posture

The workout**
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells
2 sets of 13 Bent Over Rows with 25 pound dumbbells, with one minute rest. My elbows are beginning to take offense to the greater numbers, we shall see if a minute rest between sets works out.
Lower Body & Core, Day 18: One minute Full Plank
Ten minutes in the Pits, unarmed

*From last night, during the migration.
**For today.

I don't feel challenged enough by the Shrugs, unlike the Bent Over Rows. I think once I return from my trip, I'll be replacing them with either Hammer Curls or Alt Hammer Curls.

The workout
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells
30 Shrugs with 25 pound dumbbells
Lower Body & Core, Day 19: Three sets 16 Slow Climbers and 10-count Plank Hold with thirty seconds rest
Lower Back

Following on yesterday's announced change to my dumbbells workout, I believe I will restart the Bent Over Rows as well, to match up with the Hammer Curls I end up doing.

The workout
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells
2 sets of 15 Bent Over Rows with 25 pound dumbbells, with one minute rest
Lower Body & Core, Day 22: One minute Full Plank
Tempered Steel at level 2 with one minute rests. I sense there was a theme today.

Yesterday was one of the two days I had planned for with respect to the extra workouts earlier this month. This upcoming Wednesday is the other, as I will be going to bed very early for an equally very early wake up to travel.

The workout
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells
32 Shrugs with 25 pound dumbbells
Lower Body & Core, Day 23: Three sets 18 Slow Climbers and 10-count Plank Hold with thirty seconds rest
Posture Perfect with one minute rests

I have returned from my trip. It was a good time but, as usual, far too short.

Workout Thursday
Lower Body & Core, Day 27: Three sets 20 Slow Climbers and 10-count Plank Hold with thirty seconds rest
Lower Back with one minute rests

Workout Friday
Lower Body & Core, Day 28: One minute Full Plank
Upper Body at level 1 with 2 Knee Push-Ups. I was not feeling particularly energetic.

Workout Saturday
Lower Body & Core, Day 29: Three sets 20 Slow Climbers and 10-count Plank Hold with thirty seconds rest
Fifteen minutes of Steady State Cardio

Workout Sunday
Lower Body & Core, Day 30: One minute Full Plank
Ten minutes in the Pits

Today, I am taking a rest day. I normally start new challenges on the first of the month, I've been on the road over twelve hours in total, and I'm changing some stuff up in my workouts. I think I deserve a rest to reflect on the past few days and the upcoming month.

So, I was doing a bit of research today to determine what challenge I would do this month and thought I'd check out programs, too. Well, a further change is coming: in addition to picking up Easy Core as this month's challenge, I'm going to switch up my main workout to the Primer program. Sure, it pushes Steady State Cardio at twenty minutes back about a month, but it opens up a different path, which is also good. Primer will also lead into Primer+ - perhaps not next month, but soon - which is a good way to get more out of my dumbbells.

The workout
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells
10 Alt Hammer Curls
Easy Core, Day 1: Three sets of 8 Side Bends and 4 Twists with no rest
Primer, Day 1: Three sets each of 10 Reverse Lunges, 20 Calf Raises, and 12 Forward Bends with one minute rest between sets and exercises. My knees did not appreciate the Reverse Lunges, hence the easier sets.

The workout
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells
Two sets of 5 Bent Over Rows with 25 pound dumbbells, with one minute rest
Easy Core, Day 2: Thirty Side Bends throughout the day (technically, but not actually)
Primer, Day 2: Three sets each of 12 Chest Expansions, 12 Standing W-Extensions, 20-count Chest Squeeze, and 20 Arm Scissors with one minute rest between sets and exercises

The workout
20 Uppercuts with 25 pound dumbbells
10 Alt Hammer Curls. Yes, I'm going a bit more slowly this time with the rep increase.
Easy Core, Day 3: Three sets of 8 Side Bends and 4 Twists with no rest
Primer, Day 3: Active rest stretching, 20-count each stretch complete the circuit for each side.
