What's New at DAREBEE - The Hive Is Now a Guild
Hello everyone!
This week the Hive became a guild. There's a lot of other news too, so here is everything that happened at DAREBEE since last Sunday.
Quests Are Back
Longtime members will remember the weekend quests: defend the bridge, scale the tower, defeat the troll. They're back, and this time the Hive is a guild. Calls for help come in from across the realm and land on the quest board. Every weekend the guild answers one of them together.
Quests have their own home now: the Quests section of the forum. You'll also meet the Clerk there, our new guild record keeper. The Clerk posts each quest and the updates along the way.
The First Quest: The Lighthouse at Saltreach
Our very first quest went up yesterday. The guild brought the target down a full day early, which we did not see coming. 76 adventurers have answered the call so far.
Clearing a target early now opens an Encore. That's a second act of the same quest, so there is still something to do once the main target falls. The Saltreach Encore is open until 2026-10-12 10:00 (Athens time). Join the quest if you'd like to help!
Next weekend's call for help is The Geese of Millbrook. It runs from 2026-10-17 10:00 (Athens time) to 2026-10-19 10:00 (Athens time). We're told the geese are not friendly.
Guild Ranks
Every adventurer in the guild has a rank. Ranks are earned with Guild Points, and you collect them in every quest whether the guild wins or loses:
There are six ranks: Copper, Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Mythril. Your rank badge shows up on your profile and moves up by itself as you earn points. Nobody needs to claim anything.
The Guild Ledger
The Guild Ledger keeps a permanent record of every quest the guild has answered: wins, losses, the hardest hitters and everyone who took part. You can open it from the new Guild tab in the top menu. The rank badge on your profile links there too.
While a quest is on you'll also see a quest banner on the darebee.com homepage and a progress banner here on the forum. That way nobody misses a call for help.
More for the Community
NPC Is Out for Everyone
NPC is our new 21-day RPG program. You are a cabbage farmer trying to get your cart to market while heroes on their very important quests keep wrecking it. The Hive had early access last week and now it's live for everyone. Save the cabbages!
New Workouts
New Collections
Ten New Guides
Yes, ten. It was a reading kind of week.
New Functionality and Improvements
Most of this week's community changes started with you, so thank you. If something feels off or you have an idea, please tell us. Pretty please. We read everything (and the geese are watching).

- Every weekend, from Saturday to Monday. Next weekend's quest runs from 2026-10-17 10:00 (Athens time) to 2026-10-19 10:00 (Athens time) and every quest after it keeps the same hours. We skip event weekends.
- No teams. Everyone works on one shared target and every rep counts towards it.
- Every quest is a story of its own, so you can join any weekend without catching up on anything.
- Won or lost, every quest goes into the record. Losing is allowed. It's just a lot less fun.
